Almost looks like a pastel.

Looks like a nice normal to me :) I have a girl similar with yellow sides instead of white sides.

I think normal, kind of has an echi color to it.

the belly is really nice.. almost like a really browned out pastel?

To me she is beautiful no matter what she is, I just really wanna get a good idea cuz I got a male that to me looks like a wild type male but he's got alot of grey/silver markings and alot of white I wanna breed her to. That belly is definitely cool though!

That is a nice belly. But she just looks like a nice blushed normal. I have a few like her. She will tend to keep a bit of That yellow as she gets older but it will fade out a bit.

first one looks like a pastel to me (You can see how yellow around the belly she is.) The second one is a normal.

I can tell you that is definitely not a pastel. I have seen many, MANY pastels and this is no pastel. They are nice normals though :)

Both are normal wild type ball pythons and yes the female has het pied like markers, but without a pied male that would be difficult to prove.

keep in mind,, markers are nothing to go by.

Doubt it matters but shes got dark brown/black eyes, my male has greenish/brown eyes.. Matter?

Seeing more pics of your female, I'm taking my "looks like a pastel" comment back. She is a normal, very pretty. :)

Is it common for a wild type normal to carry het pied markers? I'm excited either way because as you see they both carry sweet markings and colors... Cant wait till she hits 1600gr.

I have 2 100% normal balls that you could say have the het pied markers. They are compleatly normal though. I also have a proven 100% het pied female that has the exact same markings. So yes normals can have what could be confused as "markers" of one thing or another. Would I say that they are reliable. NO!

Looks like a Normal to me. I have a very reduced pattern normal very similar in color.

I just received a new addition that looks almost exactly like that. Crazy pattern, high yellow sides, clean belly with what looks like the het pied markers. Everyone also is claiming its just an attractive normal too.

All we can do is breed em out n see what we get! Good luck to you!

Yeah its kinda a pain in the tail when you get a " normal" from a pet store, get it out around other bp owners and they say it looks like a morph, then post here and it seems to just be a pretty lookin normal..lol.. I at first thought mine looked like a spotnose or pastal when she was younger and in good light.. Guess we'll have to see

She is a very pretty normal. :)
I have a het albino female with belly/sides like that. Gorgeous! (Not a marker for albino, just a natural variation).

The head is diagnostic, though--there's no mistaking that she is a normal, from her head.
