Officially Addicted!

So after the first weekend of playing Skyrim its safe to say im officially addicted!
I think Ive played close to 30 hours this weekend even with me working full shifts all weekend too lol.
I used to play WOW so its mostly like that but not online and no BS to deal with. :P Very visually pleasing game, theres not alot I dont like about the game so far.

Ive played Fallout so I kind of caught onto the system easily since its Bethesda.
Only thing I dont like is the horses look like your riding two fat guys in a horse suit. The motion of their moving horses are horrible, maybe im just used to RDR. :P
But overall Im very pleased!

Agreed, i told myself i wouldn't buy it but my room mate had to go and get it...
I will shortly be buying it for PC. :rage: :P

Oh man I was looking forward to its release. My boyfriends birthday was 11-11 so he got it for his birthday :)

LOL, don't get me wrong i REALLY wanted to play it. I was trying very hard to ignore its release though. My room-mate destroyed that for me. :P

one of those things like your dreading its release cuz thats all you'll sit and do is be anti social and play this video game? lol maybe thats just me.

:O I'm loving Skyrim too! The game is so immense, and there is so much to do. I'm only on Level 7 and killed my first dragon (or pretty much just stood on the tower raining arrows on it, while the rest of the party did most of the damage). I'm a sword and shield guy. What weapons do y'all like to use?

Im level 15 :)
I love fighting dragons! doing it on your own gets pretty intense.
Im a bow and arrow kinda girl and when close range I use flames magicka.

I don't get paid till this Friday, so I've been playing Oblivion to distract myself while my roommate plays Skyrim in the other room :P

He's let me play it a couple hours while he was at work and I CAN'T WAIT! Started out playing Elder Scrolls Morrowind on the xbox original way back when, and being the only game I had at the time it sorta ate 2 years of my life. Been warning my boyfriend with that story as payday gets closer :D My only complaint was that it was hard to play an archer/mage character since you had to switch back and forth, but I figure there will be all sorts of combinations to work out

My wife got it Monday for her PS3. I've been playing it a bit here and there up until today, when I finally bit the bullet and traded in every Xbox 360 game I own to get it. Ended up paying a little under $5 at Gamestop, but I'm already 4 hours in, level 5 or so, and one-handed weapons all the way. Going to tinker with dual wielding later. Oh and I just joined The Companions, amazing quest line. Loving every second!

My boyfriend bought Skyrim for me this week, I could only fit in about 5 hours between work and whatnot, but I love it! I haven't played Oblivion in a while so going from Fallout to Skyrim is taking a little getting used to. I'm going to play some more tonight after my son goes to bed, love it! :P

Fallout is, sadly, ruined for me now. The amount of freedom in Skyrim is amazing, as much as I loved Fallout New Vegas and the beginning of Fallout 3 (which I traded in today), I just can't play them anymore! I think I'm going to have go to back and play the other Elder Scrolls games eventually now!

skyrim is pretty much rockin my world! :D

As soon as my new PC is finished I'm buying this game!! Oblivion nearly stole my soul, lol!!

I still have the Witcher 2 and Bad Company 2 sitting in my cupboard...I don't think I'll be seeing much of my family this December!

Well Ill tell you we're expected to get 200 inches of snow here this winter and skyrim will be the perfect game to keep me busy! :D
Im not much for winter outdoor activities so I stay inside and play video games :P lucky you dont have to worry about snow in south africa.

Nope, but we do have to worry about rain this year. Apparently we've got La Ninya(sp), going on, and we are having plenty rain, and even very unseasonal cold, Durban should never ever have a high of 18C in the Summer :(

Plus side is today is beautiful, but oh well...Gaming it will be this weekend, lol!!

We had gorgeous weather here too! Yes it is the perfect weekend for gaming...too bad I have to work all weekend. :(

Oh man, I tried so hard not to get this game.

I have Battlefield 3 for PC, and I was goig to play it until I Star Wars The Old Republic comes out in December. Then eventually get SKyrim when it went on sale for cheap...but....but a room mate got it...and I couldn't resist.

So, basically I work roughly 50 hours a week, and I'm already lvl 30-something. I solo'd some dragons, and can handle killing a town's worth of guards. Also, I haven't even really been following the main quests.

Skills-wise? Heavy Armor, One handed Weapon, and Destruction/Restoration Spells. I dabble in other things to pass the time (sneak, shield, enchanting, and smithing). However, Running around, I can ignore most enemies until I feel like attacking...

Anywho...also smithing is completely worth it. I'm running around in Legendary Daedric armor, and a Legendary Daedric mace. I'll have to smith a new set when I have enchanting up, but man.

Haha. I couldn't sleep so I just played for 2 hours before I have to get ready for work. I'm level 19 and am playing purely destruction so far. I think a little later I'll switch to archery and melee for some level ups.

Stupid weight limitations!!! I refuse to dump points into stamina! :mad:

Bethesda makes brilliant games, they can be slightly buggy on launch day but always worth it.

Some parents named their kid Dhovukin and are gonna get free games for the rest of the kids like!!!
