Its not a Ball Python but...
So, I have been wanting to get another snake and this is my second favorite snake. What do you guys think of the color?

Nice snake, I think I'm going to be getting a hypo rainbow boa sometime next year. There is a breeder in my area and I love her hypo male. :)

Beautiful snake. I have a male burm that is my favorite. I can't wait for him to grow up. He has the temperament of a ball, but is more active and inquisitive when out. I love his personality. I still love my 2 balls just as much, but mitch is more personable.

I have thought about venturing into breeding brazilians, but I sold my pair before the female reached breeding size. I kick myself for that one now.
I LOVE gtp's! I have a male now, but he isn't breedable because he has a skin fold. I would love to have a clutch of gtp eggs!

What about bloods? Those are my second choice. Rainbows are very attractive though.

I don't know why, and I may get flamed for this but I think rainbow boas are butt-ugly. I just really don't dig the red-and black combo, plus the iridescence. Sorry :( But it does have a really cute nice face and nice slender body.
To each their own?
I absolutely love RTBs. I can't get enough of them. I love how clean their patterns look (even as adults) and all of the morphs are stunning. The first time I saw a sunglow at a reptile show, I fell in love.

BRB are ok. I don't see myself ever getting one, but I can appreciate them.
But...
Where is the other/none of the above option? :D
I am a carpet python and amazon tree boa fan as well. I love naughty/feisty snakes. :D

I chose burms/retics, but my second favorite is ball pythons.
I also love dumerils, rainbow boas (next on my list), green tree pythons, hognoses, water snakes...I'm not a huge colubrid fan, but I've seen a few morphs that make me change my mind!
That's a nice looking rainbow. Love to see how well it holds it color when it matures.
Have you looked at the peruvian rainbows? They've got some really nice colors to them as well :)

I've never seen a woma in person, but I am really liking the photos of them. I voted red tail boa, though, cause once I'm a snake care expert and can talk my husband into it (hmmm... maybe never :() I will have one. They are so awesome...

I chose red tail boas. They're gorgeous, have fun personalities, and get to a great size (big enough to have some heft, but not so huge that it's a chore handling them).
The one carpet python I met was a downright sweetheart. I was at a show, and I got to hold a carpet that was a pretty good size (big enough to cut off a little circulation when he wrapped his tail around my wrist). Even though he was in full hunting mode (we were two feet away from a rat seller), he didn't even attempt to strike.
Then again, snakes seem to like me. I remember as a little girl reaching my hand into a tank full of baby burms and pulling them out to wear as bracelets, armlets, put around my neck, etc. Only now as an adult do I realize that they should have bit the crud out of me. But nope, I was a 6 year old girl walking around my grandpa's exotic reptile and fish store wearing baby pythons as makeshift 'jewelry'. And yes, I shamed a lot of people into overcoming their fear and holding a baby snake.

I would guess that as that one gets older, the orange color will get deeper, and overall it'll get slightly darker. It's amazing to watch Brazilian Rainbow Boas color up after each shed. It's like getting to unwrap a Christmas present ever month for the first 2 years.

My Vote - Other:
Carpet python.

Sorry, I didn't know what all to put on so I went with the most basic stuff!
