new BP didnt eat today

one of my new additions i got last week didnt eat today...... should i try again tomorrow or wait until next week? the rat is live also

Wait until next week. Trying to feed to many times so close together will just stress out the snake.

If it is live then I would say try tomorrow. If it wont eat live tomorrow then it must be stressed out. So I would hold off for a week or so before you try again. Some peeps will tell you to wait a week at least from the start to let it get use to its new home. So its really your call on how you BP is acting and what you feel is right for your BP.

If you do decide to try tomorrow I would only try for llike 2 min. Live feedings are usually immediate once the BP notices it. If it not interested the just try next week. It will get stressed if you leave a live rat it doesnt want in its tank.

If you are going to feed live, it is always a good idea to get a small Critter Keeper and water bottle. That way you have a way to keep live rats for a week or so, in case you have a feeding refusal...

i have a water bottle but it belongs t my rabbit lol... im gonna fust keep it in a cage and feed it fruit and veggies and rabbit food if it dies ill freeze it

I would also wait until next feeding.. watch for signs in your bp of stress and try to remedy them.

she wont freaking un-ball!!!!! she is super skittish i dont think she even saw the rat..

Sounds like she's super stressed. Shell come around. I'd give her at least a week before you offer anything again. Just make sure we have tight fitting hides, if she's in a tank cover the three sides, no touching, etc.

Wait another week and only go in the enclosure to spot clean and change water.

You're also supposed to try frozen/thawed first lol

the previous owner said try live first
