At last... I have a ghost!!
Earlier tonight I traded one of my Mojave babies for this gorgeous little orange ghost (male), bred by an iHerp friend of mine... she lives in LA, and I was there for a business trip, so we even got to do the trade in person. Finally have the one thing that was missing in my collection!! :)

Whaddya think? Hard to capture how light he is with my crappy camera, but the first picture is most accurate...

Congrats, ghosts are hands down my favorite morph to work with. They add so much to other genes.

Congrat! He is pretty! I just got my first ghost and every time I look at her I think, why did it take me this long to get one?!

Yup, me too!! I've been wanting one since the first time I saw a ghost, at a reptile expo back in 2009... just couldn't find the right one (whenever I had the money), though, until this trade offer came along. I'm so happy with him, and glad I waited for the right ghostling. :)

LOL... yeah, I guess that's part of having a ghost! :D I have the same issue with my lesser girl, who always looks too dark in photos (she's extremely light & yellow in person).

Btw, thanks to everyone else for the comments! I have one question, which hopefully some of you can answer for me... what should I name him? I use Shakespeare names for most of my BPs, and came up with two ghosts from Shakespeare plays - Hamlet and Banquo. Which do you like better?

P.S. I don't have a female het hypo yet, so I'm also not sure what to do with him breeding-wise. I mostly just got him to admire and love, but of course I'd like to find him a mate in the near future... thinking of skipping straight ahead to a morph/het, so I can make combos right away. Maybe a pastel or mojave het hypo? How much do you think that would cost?

FYI, here's a link to his father's iHerp photos, so you can see how light he should get: http://iherp.com/Public/Animals/Anim...AnimalID=34008
