Leave your snake alone for the next week.
Make sure it has plenty of water and all your husbandry parameters are correct. Don't ASSume your parameters are right - check them and then compare them with the care sheet in this forum.
Do not touch your snake for the next seven days. Don't even offer him food.
Do not even look at him other than to check on his water and to make sure there are not waste products in there.
The more you mess with him, the worse you are going to make this. Your animal knows how to shed. All of your meddling and all of your "help" is doing nothing but stressing both of you out - so stop.

A little shed left happens. The worst thing you can do is pull it off. If its stuck to the skin you could have ripped its new skin off with it and then you would have felt really bad. Other than that do what was posted above and let it be.

I don't think this was left shed, this was barely started shed, which IMO makes it worse.

It was just conversation with someone else. It wasnt to disrespect you. I just was thankful because I love animals. Go look at first posts I ever posted when I got my girl. I accidentally got tape in my terrarium and she is just about done healing from that. Trust me everyone on here has made more than their fair share of mistakes. I was just concerned for the snake so dont think I would waste my time talking crap to you. It was just a convo between me and another person who posted. You should be greatful I posted that. Cause now you know what can happen. And now so does everyone else that reads that post. So calm down. No one is against you.
P.S. The first person to ever piss me off on bp.net is the person I talk to the most on here now. He made a remark about me putting tape in terrarium that was blunt and I got pissed. But awareness matters to me more. After all, thats why I posted it in the first place. So people wouldnt make the same mistake I did.

So you can see that your not the only person who makes mistakes. This has just healed 2+ months later.

ouch tht looks as if it hurts, sorry for my smart remark, im just worried, he still hasnt shed.

Its not problem man. Didnt want you to think that I was personally attacking you, cause I wasnt. I just get very concerned for all animals and even more so after my first mistake with mine. So thats why I decided to share it with you. Because your mistake was minor compared to mine. I appreciate your appology and I am sorry if I came of wrong in my posts regarding your baby.

I don't mind sharing at all. Thats why I post the pics so people can see. Gives you more of a reality check. Well anyways it happened by me doing a project in my snake room and some how this velcro I was working with made it into the top of my tank with the sticky sides exposed on both sides. So 1 side stuck to my tank and the other sticky side was exposed. It was industrial strength by the way. Well my snake was climbing and she got stuck to it and twisted about 2-3 times while stuck and pulled her skin right off her throat. Well still connected but you get the idea. And what you first saw was it after her first shed when the scab fell off. Thats what all the red is. And her second shed 2 weeks later it just almost disapeered. Besides the scar and missing scales of course. So next shed should be the last improvement her wound will make until it just is what it is.
