I would list them both on for sale and on pets. Also post on snake forms for local pick-up. You could also send them with your snakes? I know you said a friend was going to buy them for the time being...maybe he'd need some extra food for them.

That sucks, what happened? I know you joined recently and really enjoy the hobby. If it's too private I understand. It's just sad to see someone have to give up their animals , even more so if they don't want to.

I already asked and he breeds his own live so he doesn't need any. The whole reason is due to my mother. I got my 2011 pastel and she was fine with it and didn't say much of anything to my surprise, so I went and got my mojave male who was full grown, somehow she managed to not notice the new 32qt tub with a 3-3.5' snake in it. She text me Wednesday night with a whole long speal about how it needs to be gone by staurday or she's going to get rid of it her way, and that she's so disgusted by it and almost threw up when she saw it, and on and on (she's very over dramatic). I asked her why it was such a problem as she doesn't hear or see it, and it doesn't smell, and the fact I've had it for a couple months and its just now an issue. She gave a lame excuse and said there was no debating, that they needed to be gone. So it looks like ill be out of the bp game for a year or two until I get my own place. By then I should have enough money for my dream females (phantom, special, mystic, and zebrabee). Ill be making a lot more then as a LPN, and even more when I get my RN. I'm pretty sad about the situation because she was fine about it until now, I know they will be in good hands. I won't stop posting and visiting the forum, having no bps won't kill my spirit and love for the creatures. :)

    I love you all!
    Thanks BP.net <3

Sorry, but I saw this coming.

And as far as I knew, your mom didn't know about them ever, according to what you told ME, you were hiding them.

    Say what you want though.

Jessica: Leave the kid some dignity. That was harsh.

KB: Plenty of time to do your thing. Just be glad your mom likes your girlfriend. ;)

Sorry I just don't take kindly to lying, especially from someone like kevin. Believe me, im leaving him lots of dignity and he knows exactly what im talking about. There are a few threads in which he himself talks about how his mom is afraid of girth of ball pythons and she refused to let him get any, said only in the garage, and he even inquired how to hide them from her in which he got massively flamed for... I tried being a good friend and let him do what he want, but he takes leaves of absences after drama and expects it all to disappear... sorry, but he is the one that is at fault for his own dignity, not I.

Yes I did plan on hiding them, but when I showed her the pastel she was okay with it because he was a baby and only 66g at the time, I got the mojave because I though she knew what the potential was, I guess not. In no way was I hiding them like I originally thought about. The tubs were in clear view from the doorway and were clear tubs....my dad even knew about them and would ask to hold them especially my mojave. I'm not sure how she didn't notice it...

I'm sorry to hear that you have to get rid of your BPs, I had to do that once. It was my choice to join the military, and I knew I would have to sell them all, but it didn't make it any easier. I put the money I recieved from selling my collection and put it into the bank specifically to use for ball pythons at a later time. It worked out really well, I was able to examine my methods and plans for what I really wanted to get out of this hobby, which I am now doing.

The original question is on the pet section on craigslist. I would not seperate sell them. Sell them all for a cheap price and deal with one buyer. It should be easy to sell 100 rodents on CL. Good luck, I hope to continue seeing you around on here.

I just sold them today for $50. Fair enough for 55 rats. And there will be another time for my snakes, a better time and ill be prepared.
