Cod mw3

Anybody pick up the new Call of Duty? I bought MW3, two days ago and I gotta say.. I'm not very impressed. Mind you I only managed to squeeze out an hour of game time but I don't like it. For all those Gamers out there, How do you like the game? Compare it to Black Ops if need be (I have in all my reviews lol).

The only problem that I have with MW3 is that its the same game (as MW2 and black ops) with a different story..and that's all really..but even with that the campaign had me captivated all 5 hours it took to finish it. That being said, I have found through a couple hours on multiplayer that it has only gotten better. Better gameplay, maps, weapons, and its even a little harder(takes more/more accurate hits to kill)

Really I think that what most people are going to have a problem with in this game are it's similarities to MW2 and black ops...but really, what do you expect...its coming in the series..of course it's gonna be similar. And especially when they are able to make so much money without deviating from the 'norm' for their series..why would they..

All around I'd give it a 9.5/10 and it only missed a perfect score cause of the similarities to the other COD games.

I HATED Black Ops (the campaign was the only good thing about that game.) That being said, I love MW3, took me just under 6 hours to beat it on hardened, and I am now working on veteran, But the story is awesome, and flows with the other modern warfares really well. The multiplayer is probably the best it has been for any CoD, since it is harder and the added Kill Confirmed match is an awesome idea. The kill streaks are set up in a way that you can base it off your skill rather than if you get lucky. Also I use to play the zombie mode on World at War all the time, and as sad as it was to see it go, The new Survival mode 100% makes up for it, I have yet to try that online, but solo it is addicting. I know a lot of people hate that they didn't stray from the other games, but why risk losing such a huge fan base with a game that is so different? If you want something thats not like CoD don't play CoD. Thats like saying Halo Reach is like Halo 2, Duh lol, I think they did an amazing job with this game, and i look forward to playing it a lot.

I actually boycotted this one. Battlefield 3 all the way!

I was waiting to see who on here was playing it. I like it a lot! New game modes and maps, weapon perks, a lot more kill streaks, all around great game in my eyes. The only complaint I have is the hackers!!! They kill it for everybody. That being said, I really enjoy BF2 also(have played BF3 but own BF2). Whats everybodys tags? Post em up here. BP clan in the making?

I hear a lot of conflicting opinions on this one. I personally am not a huge fan, but I LOVED Black Ops. I find there are people who love the Modern Warfare games and people who like the other lines. Not a lot of people who like both. I heard great things about battlefield 3. It was a toss up for me between the two games. I bought MW3.. kinda regret it now.

All COD games are the same to me. I just purchase them to play online. I still like it though, guns, perks and a few other things are much better and improved. I think BF3 is more of a realistic game, and MW3 more of a arcade game.

I wasted 60 bucks on mw3..Its the same game as the last 4 games..going to get battlefield 2moro.

I haven't yet played MW3, but I cannot wait. It seems like it's gonna be really good. But I wasn't a fan of MW2 by any means so we'll see what happens. I officially gave up on Call of Duty after Black Ops.

Battlefield 2142 is still my favorite shooter, but I stick with the times. I have been playing BF3 on pc whenever I have time off. You should be able to find me on Origin as Khulric.

I agree! I loved black ops - if you weren't a fan of MW2 your not going to like MW3. The only good thing about MW3 that I have started playing is the special ops multiplayer menu. It's replaced the zombie games and made missions and survival modes against incoming enemies. Its kinda cool, but its getting old fast. I find myself looking at the black ops case when I turn on the PS3.

I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE black ops.

but then again, I didnt play any of the other games in the modern warfare series.

I went and bought MW3 for my fiance and I, and I love it. <3
Its a big change from black ops, but its still great.

I generally am not very good at 1st person shooters that are that fast paced. I attempted Black Ops when it first came out and immediately handed the controller back to my brother because I died 17 times in 30 seconds lol. However, my boyfriend just got MW3 and I tried it, and I really enjoy it so far. It may not be as difficult as Black Ops, which may be why you don't like it LOL. I'm more of a Fallout 3 girl I guess...

Redboxed mw3 to test it. i did not like it at all. gladi did not waste the money. bf3 is much better imo.
