I've hit a wall. Don't know where to go from here.
When I decided to get into breeding Balls 6 years ago, I started with Cinnies with the intent of creating Super Cinnies. This year, I finally got Supers and Bullets...turns out I'm actually a bigger fan of the Bullets. But now that I've done that, I have no idea what to strive for from here. I don't even know what to do now with my adult female Cinnies.
I have other projects I'm planning to work toward, especially with Chocolates. I've always preferred the darker morphs but lucked upon a female Super Pastel Lesser recently and she's become one of my favorites. I always keep my collection under 20 animals, so I'm just stuck when it comes to figuring out what to go after, or what genes to even pursue acquiring next. I don't know what feedback to ask for...I have myself a dilemma.
What am I supposed to do with these now?

Adult female Cinnamons that you're not sure what to do with...
That's not really that bad of a problem to have.
I would pick up a male Pastave to pair with them.
That way you could make some Savanna and Pastel Savannas.
If you need to move them out to stay under your 20 animal limit, PM me for my shipping info.
Can you please post a pic of the Full BlackBack male Cinny that you used to have.
I was looking for him, but I guess all of the pics have "timed out" on the forums, and have been removed.

I like cinnamon/black pastel with lesser... Or yellowbelly! :D Or any multi gene snake would benefit from them!
-
find out how much it will cost to ship one to oklahoma, I'll buy one. Dead serious offer just let me know.:snake:

Here he is. I've produced about 6 or 7 amazing black back Cinnies and Pewters through the breeding seasons, all descending from my original male that I got from Ben Siegel in 2005...for $3,100. Haha

I'm sure it didn't hurt having her as my founding female either though.

And this isn't an ad, I'm not selling them. Just can't figure out what to do next with them. First time I've ever had this problem.

Yup, yellow belly or piebald would go nicely. Chocolate cinnamon? How could that not be cool. :D
-
Go onto world of ball pythons and type cinnamon in the little search bar. Go see if you like any of those, or if there are any mixes you don't see that you could possibly be one of the first to do! :D Cinnamon is COOL because it can look so different depending on what it's mixed with. Fun! :) Good luck figuring out what to do with them!

Yeah, my main male this year is a Chocolate Pin. I like CinnaPins but something about the Chocolate and Cinny mixing and being so similar just doesn't appeal to me. I want something that really compliments them. And CANNOT figure out what. (This is what I think about before I fall asleep at night (and is in the back of my mind, at least somewhere, basically every other waking moment) and I'm getting nowhere with it.) :)

Been there, done that...Nothin.
I think I need a male Clown but want at least an extra co-dom gene on top for good measure. Can't afford that yet though. May have to sit on my Cinnies till my female G-Stripe is ready to breed next year, cause I wanna Clown her up too. Ah, decisions decisions. Actually getting overwhelming with the plethora of options to play with these days.

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a male Honey Bee for my female Chocolate het Orange Ghost but she's only like 500 grams, so don't need him just yet. I guess I do have SOME ideas but nothing that really thrills me to the point of actually committing to it.

Thanks. That's my girl. Had her for about 7 years now and she's the first Ball to enter my collection in about a decade before that (as a het Albino that never proved out). But who cares, she's awesome no matter what.

I just bought a cinny male (80g) that i have no plans for at the moment:O
He just caught my eye and haunted me all night so i had to go get him:gj:

You have some stunning looking cinnies! Black back cinnies are the way to go, they are hard to find. I would have to say breed them to a yellow belly or ivory and definitely to your super lesser. Have you seen cinnamon lessers or YB cinnies? Both are way too cool for only being double gene animals. I don't know if you want to go a longer route but cinnamon hypos are another solid choice in my book.

I will be getting the niece and nephew of that black back male of yours come tuesday and I am absolutely thrilled! Such gorgeous snakes. Cannot wait to eventually get into my cinny breeding project. Your girls are all gorgeous! I would, if I were you, try for the panda pieds! With so many girls you could easy pop out a super cinny and work in the pied. That would be my choice. :D

Re: I've hit a wall. Don't know where to go from here.
I personally am breeding Pastel YellowBelly X Cinnamon, and FireFly X Cinnamon this year (if the firefly won't breed then i'll use a mojave) Someone I know produced Yellowbelly Cinnamons last season and they were incredible and you can't really go wrong with Savannahs

reading through the 3 pages i was gonna mention het red if someone else didnt...
shoot for the onyx/gargoyle for sure. pick up a spot nose and work toward night crawlers. they are really sweet. i think they are a lesser/cinny/spotnose.
hypo cinnies are on my must have list as well. they look really good when they have a black back. many options out there just gotta figure it out i guess.

I was gonna say het red as well, they would make some killer gargoyles. Maybe a het red/pastel or het red/lesser if you are looking to go alittle higher end.

youve got most of the ingredients except the spotnose. and it will keep your girls busy for a couple more seasons

Can you say Night Crawler (Cinny Lesser Spotnose)? I also like Cinny Spotnoses and they are pretty dark...
If I recall, you don't really appreciate Pieds/Pied Combos, or else I'd suggest ANYTHING with Pied...;)

Yeah, none of those hideous, overrated toxic puke snakes will EVER be making their way into my gene pool. ;)
Really not into the Spotnoses either. I like to have it so a male can be useful with at least 3 females. Haha, I know I'm picky. Thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it. :gj:

:snake: Snake jerky. :snake: Snap into a Slim Cin! Oh yeah!

Totally kidding. :D

:colbert: to the Pied comment, you have a whole thread on that! :soapbx: ;)
:O to the Spotnose! They are doing some amazing stuff and the Powerball combos are going to be AWESOME (IMO)!!! To each their own. Hmmm, tough one you are. Desert? Enchi? OD?
