pastelxpastel suprise hypo update

here are some updated pics of my surprise ghost pastelxpastel clutch. i labeled them as what i think they are if u think im wrong please speak up and explain. i intend to do some trading and i DO NOT want to look like im trying to pass something off as somthing it isnt.

each is pictured with the same pastel from a different clutch for comparison.

nice snakes, i'd say you got them all correct, but i cant tell in the pic wether #6 is ghost or not, is 6 the one in the bottom left of the group photo?

#6 is SPOG it looks like

he's the top left of the group. his black seems pretty sharp compared to the others i think he's just a superpastel. i could do a pic with him and the one im sure is a spog.

i didnt realize i had 2 #6's (freakin idiot) its been a long week.

it should be alot more obvious though after they all shed

So one of the parents you knew was a POG and the other you just proved out as a pastel het hypo? Very cool surprise indeed!

i got them off a guy in southern ohio who got them from a guy who got them from someone else and the lineage was completely unknown. as far as i knew they were both just pastels, i got them in a package deal.

thanks for the heads up on the %'s i never really studied up on recessives. its pretty obvious i need to though and i will.

to be honest i never cared much for the ghost gene and i told myself once that i'd never pay for it. i thought to myself "who wants a snake that looks like it needs to shed all the time". now seeing first hand and in multiple variations this one clutch has pretty much changed my entire outlook and ideas on what i want to do in the future.

5 looks more like a pastel orange ghost to me
6 looks more like a regular super pastel

Very cools pics and congrats on proving out. I think hypo/ghost just makes everything cooler!

Nice snakes! Unless you bred a visual Hypo...They cannot be 100% Het for Hypo. I think they would techincally be 66% Het since it was a Het to Het pairing.

I don't know if it'll help, but here's a pic of my POG at a couple months old. Their heads can be very washed out, making the difference between a super pastel/POG/SPOG kinda difficult to tell.
