New female-finally in the "club" (DUW)

Picked this little gal up from the Seattle Reptile Show last weekend. I wasn't there to buy, but couldn't resist when I saw her. She shed this morning and looks great IMO (IMPOSSIBLE to capture her colors on camera). She's a whopping 77g!

The front half of her body's pattern blends together, but I couldn't get a decent pic. Full black back as well, so hopefully some nice combos will be made down the road...Thanks for looking! I'll get better pics once she's established.

Love that neck pattern! That's what drew me to the butter I got at the last expo. With something that eye-catching, you hope it's genetic!!!

Wow!! She is awesome. Have to agree with you, I don't think I would of passed on her either!

Thanks! I hope so, but I have a long (and difficult) wait to determine what gets passed along from her! :rolleye2:

Great pickup. Great looking snake. That is the next female i want to get to build up asap:)

That is one beautiful clown. Now you have to make the difficult choice of what to pair her with in 2-3 years. Choices, choices...

She looks great Grant! I think I know where she came from :D I had to strongly resist the urge to spend more money when I saw those clowns on that table. I just have spent too much on snakes the past few weeks. Congrats on that gorgeous looking girl! :sweeet:

Thanks Brian! My girlfriend actually found them and yelled at me from across the room. I had no desire to purchase another snake, but I couldn't resist. It doesn't help when the "boss" loves the snake too.

Thanks! Someone who was getting out of balls; his friend was selling her and a couple males. I will try to get his name, but he is essentially done breeding.

The couple who represented him are extremely genuine and trustworthy individuals, so I will give them a shout out when I find their names. They had some great looking snakes, but unfortunately, someone stole one of their Ivories at the show. :rage: The audacity of that D-bag...

Haha, my girlfriend had a great time too. She held a snake and a tarantula. It was fun. We actually have a project going together now :) Pretty awesome

The concert was amazing. Opeth always puts on a great show but this was probably the best I've ever seen them.

your so lucky, i saw a clown when i was there, and i stared at it for probably 20mins, did you get this one towards the back wall, kinda to the left? a guy over there had two, and this one looks exactly like one of them

Thanks! They had 3.1 Clowns initially. Someone snagged one of the males and I picked up this gorgeous female! I can't believe they didn't sell out of the Clowns, they were extremely well priced...

Update: She hogged down a nice, fat F/T rat pup last night, despite being a live mouse eater. I have a feeling she's going to be BIG.

i'm late to this thread, but yes, that's one of the nicest clowns i've seen! i like my clowns to be pattern heavy lol. none of that reduced stuff :P
