    Favorite "clean up" morph?
Hey everyone, I've been contemplating on picking up a "clean up" morph and having a tough time deciding which one. So I thought I would put the question to all of you and see which one you would get or prefer? This would be between Fires, Enchi's and Yellow Bellies. I know about the Desert and that would be my choice, but its a little out of my price range right now. And if you could, explain a little as to why you chose the "clean up" morph you did!

    thanks to all who reply,

    Dave

If I had to pick just one I would go Fire all the way.:gj:

    Out of those 3, fire.

I'm a sucker for a high yellow pastel though.

Some great shots of enhancers and enhancer combos on a recent snakebytestv episode. THAT is a crazy cleanup morph.

Frankly I'm a fan of enchis. The downside to YBs and fires for 'cleanup' purposes are their super versions.

I'm not sure the super form of yb is a problem, but I'm working on answering that issue.
When I produce an Ivory clown we'll see how clean they are ;)

I think they're all nice snakes but a fire is definitely my next purchase. Have you seen the nuclear spiders and dragonflies produced by Mike Wilbanks?:O

I am going to be working with all 3 and if I could only have 1 it's a real toss up between an enchi and a yellow belly. I love Enchi Bumble Bees but Bumble bellies are amazing too. I love combos made from all 3, but I haven't seen an enchi combo I don't like so I voted for enchi over yellow belly.

You're not making any sense... You are the first person I've ever seen refer to ivory and black eyed lucy as a downside. :rolleye2:

All are great choices, but if I had to choose I would pick fire. YB would be second and enchi last. Just my opinion.

    1. Fire
    2. Enchi
    3. Yellowbelly

I prefer yellowbelly for making things brighter, but not necessarily cleaner.

I have mostly pastel gene snakes, would prefer enchis, but will probably go in the fire direction!

I agree with this. If I could only work with one morph listed I'd go with yellow bellies all the way. Personally for me I think hypos clean up everything really well, they add a new element of tone yet enhance all the qualities of the other morph.

I want to put yellow bellies and hypos in everything!

I thought the dancing man was a nice touch, he made me laugh.

The only thing I don't like about white snakes is it's the end of the line for improvement or change. You can't do anything else with a white snake. I think they are absolutely beautiful and are amazing as supers. Why wouldn't you want one in your collection? Take a super butter (BEL) and every egg you get will at least be a butter, hopefully more, sounds great to me.

I just love enchis for their own sake and for what they can add to combos. For a morph that cleans up and highlights other stuff, though, I'd look to vanillas, especially since the super form is something you can make neat combos with as well.

Enchi all the way... Maybe I am biased since I am not working with too many Enchis and I love the combos that I see... But besides looks, if your not planning to hold back everything, Enchi combos will move! Wether trade or cash, Enchi combos are a great item to have. I would go: 1)Enchi 2) Fire 3)YB

i love them all as well, just not the supers(fire, mojo, lesser, butter, yellow belly) ive been hesitant on getting a yellow belly. i had a female a couple years ago. i just bought a male. i already have an enchi and a vanilla ghost. the VG is being bred to my buddies firefly so we are hoping for vanilla screams het hypo. i will be picking up another yellow belly female to replace the one i dont have any more. i love super enchis, and super vanilla's. cant wait for all my genes to get mixed together.

    1. enchi

    3. fire

I haven't seen to much get cleaned up by fire, although it does make some often combos. I have seen enchi really clean up dirty morphs. Yellow belly from what I have seen really adds some color. Of cours I own fire and yellow belly, so I want to get an enchi.

For the sake of voting I said Fire, but I really like what the Vanilla's do to clean-up a snake.

IMO deserts are the best cleanup morph. Put desert with anything and wow! But out of the three choices I would pick fire to "clean things up" but would choose Enchi to work with just because I like them the best of the three. Followed very close by yellow belly and fire. Hmmm I'll go back to my first thought Enchi yellow belly fire..

Let's put it this way. I think that SPLOGs (super pastel lesser orange ghosts) are one of the prettiest BPs out there as far as coloration goes. Heck, I think SPOGs and POGs and LOGs and PLOGs are all prettier than BELs. [/drseuss]

Given that I'd rather produce the above over BELs, it makes choosing a pair to maximize the possibility of producing a SPLOG difficult. In two seasons I'll hopefully produce some PLOGs by pairing up a SPOG with a lesser het ghost (or lesser pastel het ghost if I'm lucky), but I'd rather not put two of those together, because having an all white super-pastel-super-lesser-orange-ghost would be a HUUUUGE waste of genetics. I'd be better off putting that first SPOG with a PLOG offspring.

Given that I think Ivories and black-eyed-lucies aren't as pretty as blue-eyed-lucies, I'd much prefer to morphs that have an AWESOME super (like enchis) for cleanup purposes.

It's important to me that I don't work HARDER for UGLIER offspring :P

^^^ I definitely see your point here. There are MUCH easier ways to make a white snake...Even though I DO love white snakes.

Interesting thread, thanks for posting the question. My next pickup will likely be one of the three (thinking Enchi) and it's nice to get some opinions on it.

Enchis are one of my favs. What about orange dreams... They are a little more expensive but there combos are HOT. Vanillas are nice too

    Re: Favorite "clean up" morph?
I love fire and enchi both, but dont really consider enchi a cleaner as it is one of my favorite base morphs. Fire, lemonback, sulpher are all extremely powerful genes and make everything better, and when mixed with a color morph has explosive results

I want this Pastel fire super enchi i saw on WOBP morph list it looks CRAZY and i don't have any of them so i'll vote fire cuz it seems to make brighter yellows and even can enhance albinos very cool

I like and have all three. I have a pair of YBs, pair of Fires, and my enchi is in a combo. My next wish list item is a pair of vanilla's.
