    First Giant!
Well, not giant just yet, but getting there! Gonna be so awesome watching my first "true monster" grow. He's super light in coloration--just what I love in a snake. And on top of all that, he's a sweet boy. I picked out a fantastic snake at the Tucson Show no doubt. Hope ya enjoy the photos :).

BIG congrats Tiff! (No pun intended :P) I'd love to have one as well, but I don't think I'd be able to manage a full-size 'tic myself, I'm still not that confident in myself haha. I'm sure you'll love it! Keep us posted as the baby grows :)

Thank you :D! Oh yeah definitely not a one person snake :(. A friend of mine and I are owning this snake together, and we also have an adult to help us out as well once the snake gets larger.

Don't worry Rich, I got that covered! We've now got a huge vision cage for him, but also have this double stacked Cages by Design type thing (all enclosures have sliding glass doors and locks). Not sure which one we're gonna get rid of but we got the adult enclosure checked off the list.

Thank you :)! Indeed I am, we're planning on it at the next show. The Retic wasn't necessarily on my "Top Wanted" list, but I still love him. The Burm is almost #1 on that list, so I just gotta LOL :D.

Beautiful snake. I'm sure you've noticed by now that retics are super intelligent and super nosey of anything moving in the room. It's one thing to read about how smart they are but another to have one right? :D They're amazing animals and mine is definitely my favorite out of my collection, haha.

Good luck with your future giant!

Gorgeous. Nothing like the pattern of a normal Retic. I've been hypnotized by that pattern since I was like 6 years old. Enjoy, he's gonna grow fast! :)

Thank you! That was probably a great decision, always good to be in the best position to have a giant :).

LOL you're welcome. Since you're only almost 16, I figured it was only appropriate that a fellow female say it, but still :)

I'm in love with his orange eyes! So beautiful! If only they could stay that size! (Well, for me, anyways!)

Congrats. He is a looker for sure. How old is he? He looks like he is only a little bit bigger than my male burm. I'd be curious to see which grows faster larger. I plan to get one someday, but not quite ready to deal with 2 giants yet.

He is just shy under 6 months old, and already entering yet another shed cycle. I've been feeding him live weaned rats which seem to fill him up just nice.

I definitely understand what you mean. I will for sure post up pics as he grows. Since these photos he's seemed to be fattening out a lot more.

I figured younger than that. My burm is maybe 3 months old, and roughly the same size. Maybe my mitch is going to be a BIG boy.

Gonna updated you guys with something I'm not quite happy about.

My friend backed out of this commitment so I'm pretty much stuck with this Retic. I'm debating on whether I should keep him or not, but he's currently up for sale. I really like him but I don't think I'd be able to care for him once he starts to get big since I have no one to help.

That's depressing. I'm sorry about that. Maybe you can find someone else interested in helping to care for the retic.
