The Spider wobble is a danger to everyone around the animal!
My male Albino Spider is starting to go through his wobble phase. Today I opened up his bin to offer him a rat.
As I dangled it in front of him he got very excited as he smelled it (and all you Spider owners know what happens when a wobbler gets excited) and right as he was about to strike his head corkscrewed and his strike went wild, clamping down on the tip of my finger.
Just look at this terrible BP bite damage!

lol, a shaving nick hurts more than anything these guys can dish out.

Of course it's my fault for not using tongs, but I just thought it was funny the wobble kicked in a just the right time to throw his strike off.

I don't know how you made it through that, but I'm impressed.

My little spider just started showing her wobbly ways too, but she hasn't drawn blood yet.

its a nurological disorder in the spider morph, making their head kinda "wobble" back and forth, some have it really bad and wobble constantly, and some you cant notice, usually until feeding time or it gets excited. and im pretty sure kinks can happen with these guys too, which is where the neck is kinked at an angle

Hah, I used to think that, too, about ball python bites. Then my friend Joy showed me her 8 year-old Monty, to ask me if I thought perhaps she was underfeeding? (1 weaned rat per month.) And he BIT my ring finger, and started wrapping himself around my wrist.

It took 5 minutes and a pencil to pry him off. There was a really surprising amount of blood. The bite didn't look too bad cleaned, but my finger was BRUISED for several days afterwards...

I really ought to post the bruise pictures some time. But I didn't think to take any pictures of the blood, dang it.
