    First bite :)
Was trying to help red baby GTP to eat, still hasn't eaten, and the baby got a little mad at me :) Didn't hurt but it was so cute :) Wish the food was what was struck at though :(

Anyway, here is a pic as I know you guys like :)

Yellow baby has eaten once but has not eaten again.

Grr, this is a very trying process for sure!

You have thus been initiated! Yay!

Hopefully the little thing eats next time tho.

Agreed. Darn things are stubborn after shipping.

No....they are stubborn until they are well-established.lol. How big are they and what are you feeding them? I have a little experience with baby chondros. ;)

Well from everyone I have talked to I've been told the shipping process stresses feeding babies out, but if you mean they are stubborn when young, yeah I agree. (*Edited, sorry had to reread)

They are very small still, june hatch date iirc, and I'm trying to feed them pinkies. Have tried p/k and live. Got the yellow to feed once and the red hasn't eaten. The yellow has not eaten a second time but both are showing a little interest. Just not enough to taste.

There are lots of tricks to get them feeding. When I get home this afternoon I'll get on the laptop and give you a list of what could help. I'd like to see you get them going and succeed with them. Babies are the most stressful part of keeping chondros.

Looks bloody for a little baby bite. I'm just waiting to get bit. Every time I look at pictures of GTP skulls I shudder to think about my first time getting tagged. Good luck getting them to eat consistently! :D

Welcome to the bite club, lol. I got tagged a while back by a 50+g baby chondro and I have to say it stung worse than a 500+g BP bite, LOL.

And good luck with them too :). Hope they eat for you soon.

My son got christened today as well. He is 7 years old and decided he wanted to hold her (a 4 year old temperamental psycho)knowing it was feeding day. She came out nice and easy then tagged him right on the inside of the elbow. I never heard him scream with such a high voice...but then play it off because he had a friend over.

Good luck getting it to get started. It can be quite the challenge sometimes with them.
