Remember Cheerio? Your gonna love the update! DUW
This is a great story of survival that started here...
    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...hlight=cheerio

Safe to say I am VERY happy with where my favorite ball python is today... Here is a picture of her in the beginning on the verge of death weighing in at 32 grams after being force fed 2 pinkys and a fuzzy asf...

Here she is now at 15 months old at 1,573 grams on empty! She is a BEAST for her age!!! :)

And I LOVE THIS.... Here is a picture taken on 08/10/2010 of cheerio (the smaller snake) and her clutchmate - normal sized sister.

    http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...a/PICT0030.jpg[/QUOTE]

And here are those same two today... the sister is about average for her age at about 650 grams.... LOL, Cheero could eat her if she wanted to... and still have room for desert.

Those are always very specials I have one like that too (Black Pastel Female) a real little fighter (Xena) that had very little chance (assisted for 6 months) and yet now you could not tell now.

Those are the ones that keep you grounded, reminding you why you really got into this in the first place.

You did a great job with her. :gj:

This gives me SO much hope. I just love her pattern and story. I have a female pastel I bought around 55 grams, along with a pair of ghosts near 60 grams. The ghosts have doubled in weight, the pastel lost down to the 30s a while back and I'm now assist feeding her. I hope she takes off eventually like Cheerio. :)

Aw congrats!!! I'm hoping my little .1 het ghost will be that successful. She was 40ish grams when I got her, had to assist feed, and now she's striking and eating on her own.

    Love stories like that!

    Oh Mike!!

I can't believe that's little Cheerio!! She is so huge and so beautiful now. This absolutely brings tears to my eyes. I checked her thread a dozen times a day when she was born, I think it was almost as hard on me as it was on you. I cheered every meal, crossed my fingers for every update, I fought the good fight with her every day.

When you stopped updating I feared the worst, and I couldn't bear to ask about her and find out my fears were true. I literally screamed when I saw your post, scared my husband silly! I can't believe that massive girl was once so tiny and close to death.

When she has babies, I want on the waiting list!!!

Congrats Mike! Yeah, I've learned to not give up on animals. I have a pastel female that had to be assist fed for 3 months or so before she even took live. She takes F/T now and just dropped her first clutch of 6 eggs due to hatch around Halloween.
