Its not all the time that my Jaw hits the floor at how much some BPs eat.... but this one takes the cake. I got a female pastel BP who is just a PIG!!

here is a pick of here on 7/31 at about 1 month old.

Wow she is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect example of a pastel IMO, and her being a pig is just a huge plus :gj:

I got her from a guy in Bridgewater MA. He told me she was from a 0.1 spider 1.0 pastel and that any of the babies from that 0.1 spider were always pigs and grow fast... At first i thought, 'yeah thats what they all say', i guess now i have seen it for myself. :D

My pastel is a pig too. Got her a a week and a half ago and she was like 66 grams. Now shes 89. So far I've fed her 2 rat pups/crawlers (whatever you want to call them) and she strikes at it immediately like she hasn't been fed in months!

There she is woofing down her first meal a week ago today.

Your pastel has a lot more lighter areas than mine. Mine is VERY binary either yellow or black/dark brown...no tan areas really. Interesting. I wonder if as she grows she will get lighter blotches in her dark stripes.

I love her color and blushing. :D

Little pigs are great, I have a PH Caramel Glow that is pushing 900g and she was 209 when I got her in May. She's the one I offer what my other ball pythons refuse. Last Sunday she downed 2 small rats. :P

Yea i got really lucky with her being such a good feeder. Its funny i walk into the room and she comes right out of her hide looking for food every single time. Her feed response is like a GTP! I also got lucky on my Male mojo who is also a good feeder but kinda seriously pissy.

Gorgeous pastel!! I love her blackback-like pattern and her blushing is insane!! :O

You are really lucky! I wish they all could be good eaters, but I guess it makes us all the more grateful when we actually get one that is!! You'll have to keep us updated, imagine how big she'll be after a year!

I really wish my bp was a pig shes only eaten once since I got her (less than a month ago), she was supposed to eat last thursday and refused on sunday and so we are going to try and feed her again tonight I really hope she eats, shes starting to look a little thin. we have been holding off on handling her so she will eat when we feed her tonight, and to make it worse it looks like she going to shed this next week. I hope she eats tonight. :please:

That is a fantastic pastel. It's a shame the breeder doesn't have a website.

Thanks she is still very young born early july late june so i will see how it turns out. but she has been great easy to handle and just a fantastic feeder! i couldnt ask for a better BP for my first morph. My goal is to breed her with the one i have had for 8years and always have one from that bloodline since he was my first snake ever. I think that would be a true goal as a hobbyist.
