    Thank you all!

Just one thing, Im having a new issue with my incubator.
If I set it to 88, the egg box will get up to 88.3, which is great, But it will wait until the egg box gets down to as low as 86.9 though not usually lower than 87.3. If I set it to 89 it will go up to 89.4 then go down to 87.8.
What should I do? will this fluctuation affect the eggs?

Why is it that every time I ask a question, no one answers me?

I would get a better thermostat. What type of incubator are you using?

I'm using a homemade melamine incubator that we bought that came with a Johnson t-stat

Mine did the same. All is good. Nature doesn't hold it on 1 degree for 2 months either.

Hey all, just thought I'd give an update. We are now 2 days away from the expected hatch day, they've started dimpling and still candle good. A window even developed in one of them. unfortunately it isn't at a good angle to see much.

I do have a question about the one on the right. it has started to develop bumps on the surface. Is this normal? and how often is too often to check on them. I keep wanting to check them but have to resist. So exciting!
    Thank you all for looking

So yesterday we got a little impatient and cut the clutch. I'm Happy to say, everyone is healthy and it looks like we hit 3 spiders out of the clutch. Not the best odds in the world, but satisfying to see even one spider, and all healthy.

    On to the Pics!

Congrats!! I remember our first (and thus far only) clutch last year. It was so exciting. I hope you guys have better luck than we did (we lost 2 clutches prior to moldy vermiculite that was sold to us). Can't wait to see them once they're out of their eggies :)

Congrats, those first clutches are always special. Funny alot of them seem to be spider x normal. Best of luck and glad that all made it to term. Here comes the fun part, watching them pip, and getting to play with new babies.

Well, first one came out yesterday. a very nice looking normal, followed by two spiders then two more normals. Just waiting on the other two. Unfortunately, we were duped, we only have 2 spiders, but that's fine by me :D

    Group pic!

I'll get another one once the last 2 come out, individual pics will come once they've shed and had a meal.

With the verience in temp its not a major issue, if you think about it in the wild temps dont stay the same. A little change should not be a problem as long as it dosen't get to hot or cold you'll be fine from what I.ve read and heard.
