It's awfully dark...
I think the one you'd have to ask is Bob Clark. Look up Bob Clark Reptiles and email him for clarification. He's been breeding all the different burm morphs for a long time.
those seem to be carmels when i search them... she is super light colored i will have to get good pics

Those are Bob Clarks photos and they are marked as Blondes. That's why I said you should ask him. Try to get a picture of it in daylight or under a daylight bulb with a real camera.

now that i look around more she look more like a sri lankan python... she has no green all tan and brown with white side...
As far as I know, both Burmese pythons and Sri Lankan pythons are Python molurus but aside from that I have no idea what the differences are really between them. However I second that I think you got took, that looks like a slightly lighter normal, but not a blonde to me.

Wait a sec... you say it was sold to you as a "blonde 100% het albino"....but then you say it was shipped to the guy you bought it from as a hypo? Why did it's genetics change between sellers? Who decided it wasn't hypo and who decided it was blonde? And if all of that is being decided based on looks alone after being sold multiple times...then how can you be sure it's het for anything?
The whole thing sounds like a rather strange transaction and I hope you didn't pay more than market value for a normal burm of that size.

In that case I agree. I wouldn't call it anything other than a normal until you breed it and prove otherwise.

ya im not sure the thought they had behind it.. i paid 50 for her she was wicked under weight got her pounding rats today....
i was drawn to her either way just based on her coloring.. but the label said blonde and it didnt look to blonde to me.. but i saw blondes diff when i looked before then heard blonde and carmel are same an was like ya deff not blonde..

Blonde and caramel in burms are the same morph. That snake looks like a normal burm to me might be het for albino maybe. Its not sri lankan. If it was a hypo and def if it was a blonde you would certainly know it because your wallet would of shrank quite a bit.
She's a pretty normal poss het albino. Most het albinos have the pink/red coloring above the eyes.

Re: blonde burm????
Is there information that shows that Burms with pink on the stripe above their eyes are always het Albino? It could be more like a "marker" on het Albinos like het Pied markers on Ball pythons, but they are not always 100% true as regular normals can have the markers too.

I haven't seen info online or anything, but every het my husband produced, and his het breeder female, has the pink above the eyes.
