Snake w/a foot discovered in China
    http://www.weirdasianews.com/2009/09...covered-china/

"A snake measuring sixteen inches long has been discovered in China by Dean Qiongxiu, making its grand entrance by clinging to the bathroom wall with a clawed talon.

Unfortunately, its life was cut short when she beat it to death with a shoe as it attempted to defy evolution and scurry across the wall using its single foot. Preserving the specimen in alcohol, it was turned over to the Department of Life Sciences at West Normal University in Nanchang.

According to resident snake expert Long Shuai, the cause of the foot remains unknown, though an autopsy may reveal why. This biological anomaly is in a way similar to the growth of an extra head, which shares similarities in the way humans develop into conjoined twins.

Unlike two-headed snakes, however, human conjoined twins don’t often attack each other. A snake with two heads has little chance of surviving for a long time in the wild, though one can only guess the physical limitations or advantages a snake with an extra foot might have.

It’s only a matter of time before regular snakes evolve into walking monsters and take over the world."

Honestly it looks more like whatever it was eating managed to break through the skin and it never really got better! The weirdness of the body shape..Either that or photoshop!

It does kind of look like that because of the bulge but according to the article it was handed over to scientists. I would think they would know right away if it was another animal breaking out. I'd hope anyway. Plus it's the same color as the snake. Maybe there will be more reports in it later on after they have a chance to check it over.

It's a lizard the snake ate or photoshopped. Not only is the leg pointed in the wrong direction but it's coming off of the trunk, not off of the correct area of the anatomy--where a python's spurs are located.

If you look at where the actual joints are, it would be facing the right direction, just not formed properly. I'm very much doubting a lizard that 'busted through' the stomach seeing as the skin colors and patterns match up, though photoshop is a possibility. If it is photoshop, it was done well.

I guess another reason I'm suspicious is I swear I remember seeing this photo a while ago, like a year or more ago, but I can't find the link I remember seeing.

I would say the snake had a lateral burst and the leg or arm of its last meal is coming out. I suspect it’s a frog’s arm.

I believe I do remember seeing a thread on here about this topic before. Definitely weird stuff.

thats pretty interesting, the colors and patterns are matching, and the limb has a shadow, which makes it more convincing. and like stated before me, if it is a photoshop, they did a really good job. IMO, it doesnt really look CG'd, but then again it is a bit blury when looking at the larger picture, wich would camouflage the graphics a little better, im just gonna stay undecided on this one, and wait to see if anything else comes up from this story
