how do you cook your bacon?
do you fry it?
do you bake it?
do you grill it?

350 for 15 minutes each side on a stone pan

I cook my bacon on a broiling pan in the oven at 400 degrees. Flip it over as soon as the fat starts to bubble. Cook until preffered crispness. You can collect the drippings to use for other recipes from the broiler pan afterward.

thats a good idea, ive always just used a cookie sheet, but a broiler pan would let me save the grease to fry my eggs, im gonna try that tommorrow:D

Fried, the way bacon was meant to be cooked. My mother-in-law has started baking bacon, but for some reason it always turns out horrible, almost flavorless except the flavor of burnt grease...
And I'm with you Robin... The wife likes hers extra crispy but I like mine on the softer side, just short of crispy...
-
I fry my turkey bacon. Pigs is too cute to eat (grammar mistake on purpose people). :P

Re: how do you cook your bacon?
Fried but I don't like it crisp. I like mine to be a little chewy. Waffle House calls it "limp bacon." IHOP always cooks it like that.

Good to know! Waffle House is coming to our office on Monday to cook bacon, sausage, eggs and waffles to order - now I know how to request it!
-
I just like the fat to be cooked away and a little crispy on the edge, but still like it to be a little chewy in the middle like tender jerky. Mmmmm bacon jerky.

Fried bacon all the way, I use bacon/bacon grease in alot of dishes that I cook.

Re: how do you cook your bacon?
Just a minute or so per side.....I actually like mine raw....

I bake it with ketchup and brown sugar lightly sprinkled on it.
-
I fry my bacon on a griddle.
Mmmm

Fried. Then I fry up some potatoes in the bacon grease.

Re: how do you cook your bacon?
wow this is getting alot of replies, but then again, who doesnt like BACON!!!!!
honey glazed and baked is really good, especially good with some french toast, yum:D

If it's "real" bacon, you have to fry it. I like mine crisp, the crispier the better. Hubby likes his a little chewy.
For the fake turkey stuff, which is mostly what I eat with my high cholesterol, I microwave it nice and crisp. My turkey bacon is usually served as a peanut butter and bacon sandwich. And before you go, "Ewwww!" It's actually very good. I make myself some toast, and cook my bacon. While the toast is still hot, spread both pieces with peanut butter, top with hot crisp bacon, and make a sandwich.
The real deal gets served with eggs and toast, or scrambled eggs and pancakes.

fried is the only way to cook it and never crispy and its best when dipped in chocolate gravy
-
fried but every now an again ill bake it
-
i bake it on parchment. Start in a COLD oven to give more time for fat to cook out. 400...

Re: how do you cook your bacon?
I like mine fried. Just until the fatty parts are turning golden. I like a little crunch and chew.
For my turkey bacon, I like that baked.
-
Fried, I like mines extra crispy and my wife likes it chewy.
-
A lot of different ways. Today we had pan friend bacon and baked bacon on stuffed tomatoes.
-
.. What if you don't like bacon? :P
I used to eat it all the time - back then I'd just fry it on the griddle.
-
oh and the best type of bacon is extra thick cut with the rind still on
