Just look everywhere, starting close to the enclosure and working your way out from there. Check small places, even places you think would be too small for them to get into. Most likely you'll find him balled up somewhere just a couple feet from the enclosure hiding in a drawer, a shoe or somewhere else dark. Just keep looking and don't give up and I'm sure you'll find him.

    This.

My girl Isabelle escaped on me a few years back (space case moment, I'll admit). Found her in the drawer of my art desk (she must have slipped in the back because I don't generally leave that drawer open). You literally have to look EVERYWHERE because you'll find them in the most unexpected places. Good luck!

I find mine near the TV wedged underneath it or in my underwear. No joke. Imagine the shock when you go to clean your laundry and you find a big fat female curled in your panties.

Also try putting newspaper or something down to make a little noise if they go across it

    The powder is good too

Also try putting their hides in the same room of their tank, and check in there often.

Well if you have no open holes in the walls or floors no doggy doors or anything like that then chances are its still in the house. Check low and dark areas. Sometimes my used to escape often he usually went for the closets. Also if you have a stereo system check the speaker ports.

Hey, I've seen people on this site before that I've been like "Oh no, they will never find that snake..." and they do! I know it must be super awful and scary to lose your snake, especially one that is so special, but don't give up! He might just turn up in the craziest place...

My hatchling got out on feed day. I ripped the room apart and couldn't find her. I decided to go ahead and feed the rest of my snakes. Started bringing out the rats and feeding the snakes and sure enough, she magically appeared in the middle of the floor. Get out a tasty rat and cross your fingers - I know how much of a panic you're in!

Hmm... maybe it would be some excellent motivation to get cleaned up and organized in that room...;) I love motivation. Man, he could be anywhere in there...

Lol The room don't always look like that I put everything in the middle because I put powder along the edge of the room to see if maybe he comes out.

Watch your heaters, depending on what type of heat you have it might be best to shut it off or block ducts. You wouldn't want to cook him in a baseboard/wall unit, or loose it onto the duct system.

Don't give up yet. My first and so far only escape was the same day I brought my new cat home. I didn't notice until later the following day and spent my Sunday searching my whole apartment apart. I didn't find her that day and spent pretty much every night for the next week up really late and checking periodically to see if she was out and about. I left thawed rat pups out on heat tape all over my apartment. But I didn't find her until almost a week later. She was under my sink (yeah they can open cabinets and drawers :O). She got stuck in a sticky rat trap my apartment complex puts down every year. The only reason I noticed her was because I heard her moving the plastic bags I keep under there as she was struggling to free herself.

Long story short, don't give up yet. They can be anywhere and it can take a little while to find them.

One thing I read about in the past-
Put a warm few hides, shoe box with a hand warmer inside, around the room. Shut off any electronics, then in the evening, overnight cool the room. They will naturally look for a nice warm safe place to hide.

I lost a snake a while back and looked everywhere for days and days with no luck. I tried powder, putting a mouse in a bottle and hoping if he eats it he will be to fat to get back out, hides, etc nothing! One day about two weeks later I was going downstairs after I got out of the shower and bam there he is just hanging out in the middle of the room.

I lost a corn snake about 2 weeks ago. A baby that weights about 8 grams.

I have a cat and feared for the worst...Either I would find it first or the cat would. (I'd hate to come home to find some half chewed up lil corn snake) I looked everywere and rummaged through EVERYTHING...nothing

Anyways...After setting out news paper and plastic bags to crinkle and not getting anything after a week (even left a pinky out for it) I didn't have any luck.

The one day last week I was sitting at my computer and noticed my cat was intrigued by something behind my small short book case where I keep the snake's cage. Sure enough, I pulled the book case away from the wall and there it was UNDER the book case in the small gap between the floor and the bottom shelf of the book case. All of 2 or so inches of space.
