Huh, this is pretty weird. Pewter with blue eyes? DUW

Did a little photo shoot this morning with my 2011 Pewter girl that just shed yesterday.... and I was pretty surprised when I noticed her eye color. I wonder if this is just temporary? It isn't a BEL blue... but they are definately a shade of blue. Her shed came off in one perfect piece. this was her 3rd shed.

she is very pretty i want 1 wonder if those blue eyes will be genetic and pass off to her offspring or if they will go darker as she gets older but either way that is 1 pretty snake congrats

Not really blue eyes, Its on most balls when their eyes move. Have a few that have this as well.

You can see it more darker eyes

So do the Pewters and Bullets I produced this year.
Ya figure...Pastels have green eyes, add a pinch or 2 of Cinny and...Presto!

Pretty neat, huh?

I know it’s hard to see in the pic but the Pewter that I hatched out this year also has blue eyes. This one is about 4 months old now.

My male Pewter also had blue eyes. They were gorgeous!

No, he always had royal blue eyes.
