I paid in full for my two double gene females!

I ordered a pastel orange ghost and a pastel yellow belly, both females! The anticipation of seeing them in person has been killing me. I bought them both from Evan Stahl. I could have had them both shipped out already but I was talking to Evan on the phone around a week ago and he said he said the new pastel yellow bellies he just hatched out were even better than the rest, so I decided to go ahead and wait. They just need a few more meals in the them and they will be getting shipped out. Plus this way the POG female will be incredibly well started by the time I get her!

I thought I would share my excitement with you guys. Many pictures to come when they arrive.

That's awesome, its exciting for sure, i just got my female spider today in the mail. It was hard enough waiting for ONE, SINGLE gene snake, i can't imagine waiting for TWO, DOUBLE gene snakes :P :D

Waiting for a reptile to come is always fun. I've been waiting for my crested gecko package from ACReptiles for just over 2 months now. I knew I had to wait that long going into the deal, but that doesn't make it any easier.

I fell your pain I had to wait almost a month for my pied after the wife told me about here but it was worth it:D

Congrats, you won't be disappointed. I hope you've got something nice to pair that POG girl up with. We're hoping to produce SPOGs in late 2012/early 2013, but with only a pastel het hypo girl we're rolling the dice.

After that we're going to work on Lesser SPOGs :D

Mainbutter, those sounds like some great projects! I think my first breeding attempt with the POG will have to be with my lemon blast male. Hypo pins look great, I haven't seen a super pastel pinstripe ghost yet, but I'm guessing it would be AMAZING! It's a long-ish project but it would be worth it!

I'm still looking for that perfect lesser girl. I want one with a nice symmetrical pattern and a good amount of dorsal striping and of course the color needs to blow me away. I know it's a lot to ask for but with time I'll find her!

I completely agree. I want everything to have ghost in it! That's the reason I will now have three ghost females to work. For the most part they all get better with age. I'd much rather invest my time and money in with projects that improve with age than with others that look great as hatchlings and almost normal as adults, such as axanthics. A lot of the yellow belly stuff I've seen seems to get better with age as well, I will soon find out.

Evan is a great guy, but the man needs to invest $150 in a digital camera. :rolleyes: His pictures are all from a cell phone. I know he produces quality snakes from looking through reviews of others who have recieved things from him, some top notch animals that man makes.

Didn't you get your dwarf retics from Evan?

Good news for me, my two girls are eating and ready to be shipped on Monday for a Tuesday delivery. These are the last snakes I will obtain by using my own money. I hope from here on out all animals I get will either be from selling animals I have and produce or by trading. Exciting stuff! I feel very fortunate to have built the collection I currently have. It's now on to the fun stuff, making my own little ones. Wish me luck, or not. :rolleyes:

That's why I have have the shipper tell FedEx to hold it for me at my local FedEx World Staffed Service Center (some people on here call it a hub). This way I can pick up my package as soon as they open AND I don't have to worry about my animals driving around in a truck all day. It's a win win for me and my creatures.

I'm going to bed. As soon as I wake up I'll be driving to the FedEx hub to pick them up. They are currently in Memphis, TN. I hope I can fall asleep or else it's going to be one long night. Many pictures to follow the arrivals!

I struck a killer deal when I saw a post on here. A guy posted showing off his snakes (they werent posted for sale) I pm'ed him and struck a deal. I have been waiting like 3 months now because she isnt feeding as well as Id like so he offered to keep her until shes eating on a schedule and from the looks of her you will understand why im so anxious.
