My DIY racks
Just a little bragging. :D I was going to put sides and a back on each rack but the temps and humidity are really consistent so I don't think I'm gonna mess with it. I need to shorten my flex watt a bit, but other than that, it's working out very well. The tubs on the left are full, and the tubs on the right are empty...for now. ;)

So true! Also, when I see a sale, I grab what I can. ...the dollar store has become my best friend for DIY hides and water dishes!

I love your setup! My setup is very similar to yours, except I used 11" flexwatt since there are no sides or back. It seems like we both are having the same problem with condensation on the front of the tubs. I just put more holes in the fronts of the tubs, but it didn't seem to help much.
Do you have any ideas on what to do about the condensation, should we be too worried about it?

The condensation was a pain at first, but then it kind of stabilized. It's still a little misty, but the humidity levels are reading consistently, and the substrate isn't getting any wetter than when i used to mist. I think it's more annoying than anything else. I may throw a few more holes in to see if it goes away so I can see my guys and gals better!

Looks like you customeized the shelf!! Hows using the lids working out?

I cut the legs down to make the tubs fit snugly and to save space/get more shelves. It was super easy. The hardest part is taping down the flexwatt since there isn't much room to maneuver, lol!

It looks like you did a good job. I've built similar racks, and it's easiest if you tape down the flexwatt before you assemble the shelves. Thanks for showing us your setup.

Thays the same style shelving I used for mine. I dislike mine though and am going with either a RBI or malamine custom build one.

Why didn't you like it? Just wondering if I'm going to run into some trouble down the road, lol.

I'm horrible at cutting anything no matter how many times I measure. So on mine the legs sit funky and uneven.
