tiger?

so i saw some baby ball pythons today that i was told were tiger ball pythons. they looked relatively normal but the black on them kind of looked like tiger stripes. anyone else seen these before? is this an actual morph or just odd colored normals?

Go to pro exotics website and you'll see.. It's one of my favorite morphs.. It's a desert enchi.. I've been looking at them for quite some time..

And if that isn't what you saw, then it wasn't an actual Tiger ball..

In the UK as a matter of fact, and even some people in the USA, they are calling some "normal" tiger stripy looking balls "tigers" but they are not the actual Desert/Enchi.

I thought that the "Tigers" are Genetic Banded or True Reduced Pattern Ball Pythons.

Vyperz.. I noticed a few years ago that people in the UK were calling those that you mentioned "tigers". That's why I added that last thing, but as far as actual coined morphs go, I'm fairly certain that pro exotics made it official here in the USA that the desert/enchi is the tiger morph.

Which is why you usually just see the others being called genetic banded or reduced pattern now.

There are one of the well known being the Jolliff line of tigers.

However there is also Tiger the combo which is Desert X Enchi

^^^ That too! Lol I totally forgot about those. What ever happened to those? I haven't seen any in awhile.

Here is a banded type tiger. Been sitting on him for a while now. Meant to prove him out but other projects got in the way. This year we may try something with him.

I've got a Jolliff tiger male, and I've produced a tiger female with her. Jolliff had the name before the desert enchi was ever produced.

Here's my male albino -- he is het for Joliff axanthic, and I'm pretty sure he is also a Joliff tiger.

I'd love to pair him with a banded albino from Will Bird's line ... I have this gal, but AFAIK she isn't a genetic "tiger" ... Guess maybe time will tell, if most of their babies are banded ...

I love the Enchi/desert tigers, but they're a little out of my range :rolleyes:, and I do find the "old-school tigers" quite appealing and under-utilized ... Would love to add a few more to my stable :P
