    Whos excited about next season???
Just looking through the tubs gets me excited about next season. Ive already counted all of my eggs before: my females have been paired, eggs have been laid, and before anythings hatched LOL. I love this hobby!!!!

    Whos excited for this season?

This will be my 4th season coming up and I'm very excited. Well, I'm hoping I get to breeding any females at all!

If my female het axanthic normal can pack on some grams (currently 980g) I'm breeding her late in the season to a het axanthic normal in hopes of axanthics!

I also have a 2000g normal girl who will be paired up with my dinker if he can gain the weight for breeding (currently 230g, aiming for 400g)

I'm also considering breeding another normal female to my het pied normal male to get 50% possible het pieds, in hopes of producing a few females to breed to him in the future.

And my snow corn snake is also up to weight for breeding this season and I have the okay from my hubby to get a breeding sized male to put with her this season. Now I just have to find a male!

So that is possibly 4 clutches of eggs this season. I'm on the fence on whether to give my pinstripe the season off. She's a small female (1300g when I bred her last season and she gave me 5 perfect eggs). If I can get her up to 1600g by Spring I may throw in a male at the last minute to see if I get anything from her.

I still have 4 females that are due to lay at the end of the month, so basically I seem to be breeding year round, I am excited to begin a couple new projects though :)

This will be my second season. I'll have three females ready to go this year. Hoping for albinos, pastels, bees. I was very encouraged after this past season with my first attempt giving six good eggs all of which hatched with nice spiders and two normals.

    This guy is!

It seems like a lot of us are going to have our first year attempts, exciting. It will be my first season as well and I will have the potential to produce 5 clutches. I just hope at least one egg will make its way through whole process. That's all I ask for! My possible outcomes are lemon blasts, spiders, pinstripes, pastels, normals, ghosts, piebalds, and 66% hets. We will see how it goes...:D

This 2200g VPI granite is getting my 1200g male trying for a super granite BUT also rotating in my spider just to make sure I dont waste a season IF they dont prove to be genetic granites:O:gj:

I'm excited every time this time of year rolls around, but this year I'm most excited. I'll have a decent shot at lesser clowns if I'm lucky. :D

I'm very excited for next season to say the least! I'll hopefully be trying my hand at breeding then :D It'll more than likely be my male POG to my YB female, unless I find another female that I want in that project more. I'm soooooo stoked

I still have a clutch hatching (1/5 were out as of this morning), and it's about 85 degrees outside... so I haven't even started thinking about the next season, LOL.

But now that you mention it, yeah I am excited - I'd be even more excited if my two '08-09 girls (normal & lesser) were up to size, however. :( Still got some decent plans though, including albinos, black pastels, spiders, spotted pythons, and/or more Mojaves!

After a frustrating season last year, finding out all I had was males. I'm really looking forward to this year, I have 2 projects i'm working on, Spider x Normal, and fire x normal. I now have 2 confirmed females this year. If they take it will be my first time producing eggs, I am stoked. Good luck to all this season.

P.S. I don't bother with a cool-down period, especially since I was living in a cool/marine climate until recently... so I'll just start pairing them around my birthday (Oct 20), as I did the last two years. ;)

    I am EXCITED!!!!!
    Very very very excited.
Did I tell you I'm excited?
    Here's why.
I'm a tiny teeny fish in this big pond. And most of my years have been just doing single gene animals. Sort of practice Runs. This year I've got 15 girls going a bit more than 1/2 of them being morph girls. Some having their first season this year. I've been raising them for 2-3 years so ya I'm excited.
Some of the girls I've been growing
    Caly- lesser bee
Bijou- one of my first hatchlings. Lemon pastel

Mickey and Mallory the two spider girls

Sin The cinny and salene The het pied
    http://tapatalk.com/mu/c6e4c251-b27a-fae5.jpg
Most of these girls I've had since they were born or as young babies. So I can't wait. Let the pairings begin. I'm so excited!!! Ok I think you guys get it.  good luck guys
