Super Pastel??????

I need to know if this is a regular pastel or a super?

A regular wouldn't have such a faded head like that.

The head looks superish, but the body not so much.

I have seen some regular babies with really faded heads though, hence why I said it was a tough call. I do see the possible super in there but I'm leaning towards a regular pastel more. Either way, it's a nice looking baby.

See that's what im saying it looks like a super head wise but not body wise. But im buying it for $65 tomorrow.

If it's not a super, it's a really hot regular pastel. $65 is a great buy, either way. :gj:

(I tend to lean toward it being a regular pastel as well, by the way....but breeding will prove it out one way or the other.)

It's a baby so I'm leaning towards regular pastel, but a nice one. I've got babies that r brighter than that but they r going to get darker. Very nice, a good price too

Im gonna get it regardless, just figured maybe it's something even better than a pastel because all the other babies don't have a light light head like this one.

I think its a very pretty normal pastel that will produce some killer babies.

The pastel I hatched last year had that same coloring and head, but that one's body is nice and blushed out. But for that price it's a nice regular pastel. Male or female?

Everyone who said pastel it correct.. But I thought I go a bit further.
People have a hard time picking out supers from just really nice pastels because IMHO people don't make enough just regular ole super pastels.. So here are some differences between a Good pastel and a super.

Good looking pastels like this one my friend Robin produced will have an awesome blushed out head. But the black is just that black, on the body and the head.

Where as on a super the head will be almost white and the blacks with be faded. Like this

Or simply ask the breeder what produced them. If there was only one form of pastel it can't be a super.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a POG? Mistakes have been known to happen at shows. The Snake Keeper sold a super to someone as a regular pastel, because one of their helpers mis-marked an animal, a few years ago.

Mine didn't when I owned one. Pictures sometimes really don't help.

I purchased a pastel that looked like that three years ago. The breeder was not sure if it was a super or not. It was not, but it she did lay a clutch this year of five eggs: Killerbee, two Bumblebees and two Pastels. It was from a pairing with a Bumblebee.
