I haven't a clue but they stand out clear as day, I first noticed that the snake was white and then the ruby colored eyes.

Awesome! The red eyes are odd? There's no albino going on? Are we allowed to see a full body shot?

Don't they call that a red eyed Lucy, or some call it a cherry bomb?!?!

EDIT: if it is indeed a REL or cherry bomb the last one I saw had a $15,000 pricetag!

Is it a male or female? Either way, awesome snake and more exciting clutches for you in the future...I can't wait to find out what it has in it. Congrats!

A Cherry Bomb is an Albino Super Mojave, this is I believe a Pastave Pied and it has much deeper colored eyes.

Very cool! Though I thought that pastel and mojo pieds still had colored heads? Seems odd that a pastave pied would have a colorless head. REgardless, that's super exciting! Congrats.

I suppose you're going to have to prove it out with breeding...

That is an outstanding looking snake regardless! Maybe it is just me, but from the pic, it looks like she has hints of yellow in her. She is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing and big congrats!

Just the pupil is ruby. The iris has color, so there is no albino. Very possible to be a pastave pied. It is interesting that there is no color on the head. Very nice. Congratulations!

That's a stunning snake. I don't see albinism in it due to pigment present in the eyes. Does the snake appear to be able to see clearly...could have iris deformity is why I ask? Were there any other pieds in the clutch? Either way that is one hot snake. Congrats

Re: Mojave Pied x Pastel = Surprise!!
Thanks for all the nice comments at first glance seeing a white snake I was a little disappointed but then seeing those ruby colored eyes changed things a bit. This is a first and more breeding will need to be done on with this project to see if others will be solid white but I doubt that...

The clutch consisted of 0.1 Pastave Pied, 1.0 Pastave Het Pied, 0.1 Pastel Het Pied and 1.2 Het Pieds.

There has to be something else going on there. That snake is totally amazing, but makes no sense given the pairing. I'm assuming you will be doing the same pairing next year?

deff not a cherry bomb the eyes would be completely pink with a red pupil so I dont get it green eyes mixed with greyish eyes the pied wouldnt make a difference in the eye color would it? I would deffinately see what she could produce in the future or do the same pairing next year? maybe its a deformity? This snake just blows my mind though I wonder if it really is a pied since its the only snake with white on it from the clutch and not even knowing the pastel mom was het pied that is one heck of a lucky snake though i must say like someone else said I would use a black light on her see what pattern shes hiding in there

I want to ask about it's vision too, the pupils look rather abnormal - very dilated and such  could it be something like a recessive genetic defect present in both parents?

I'm also gonna second the blacklight, and try to get pics if anything interesting shows up! Great looking animal either way!

The parents are pictured in post 32 of this thread and they're perfect. The Pastave Pieds eyes are a little smaller and I'll check her vision after she sheds but so far she seems. I noticed even her tongue is rather white which is pretty neat too.

I ordered a UV Black Light online today so more pics will follow.

    Thanks!!
