    What morph is this?
Its a female, about 9 years old. She has lots of alien head spots and a faded spot on her head, with flames. I thought she might be a new line of het Ivory, and she has big spots like a leopard.http://s1226.photobucket.com/albums/...current=aa.jpg

From that picture normal to be able to determine if it's a YB a belly shot would help

I'll try to get one. Do you mean the sides where the flames are? What should I try to take a picture of?

If that's a yellowbelly someone stole all of it's flames :D

j/k A belly shot is the easiest way to verify if it's a yb AKA het Ivory

I'm not seeing yellow belly there.

The flames on yellow bellies go much higher and the belly should have a checkered pattern.

I saw that thread, she has the checkering, but I couldn't get a picture of the end of her. Here is a better one.

She also has more checkering, but I can't get a good picture.

Nope, that's a normal. My normal has patterns like that too. Sorry!
I'm guessing about 95%+ of ball pythons picked up that aren't classified as morphs are normals.

The checkering is not the same. With yellow bellies it just looks very different. The center scales are usually clean and then along the edges of the belly it is extremely checkered.

This is my pastel yellow belly, but this is what yellow belly bellies look like:

Ok, I have an Amir line het Ivory to compare her to. I thought she looked sort of similar, but not enough

Based on the pictures you've shown, I would guess that she's not a yb...however...if you think there might be a chance that she is, you just need to breed her to a proven yb male and see if she throws ivories. I have seen yellow bellies that have a very poor representation of the typical yb markers...and sometimes pictures (especially low quality pictures...no offense!) don't really show the viewer what you're actually seeing in real life.

nice pattern! but I also agree that she appears to be a nice normal.. Only way to know ANY morph is to breed them and find out! :D
