I haven't been to that show in a few years - it was pretty terrible back then. Looks like its gotten much better. I'll have to check it out next time it comes around.

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone! Yeah, I'm not the best at photography, and I was surprised at how well most of those came out. And the show was definitely fun, with lots of animals that I didn't get a chance to photograph (be glad I didn't, or else this thread would be even more massive!). Sadly I wasn't allowed to get anything there, maybe another time. NARBC comes here in Feb, I think I have that weekend off, so I'll make sure to get a lot more pics there!

Thanks for sharing the pics, I love to see expo pics as well. I have a question though. How do the people feel about pictures being taken at the shows? I am asking because I want to take some pictures on the 24th at the reptile show that I'm going to, but I wasn't sure if this was frowned upon. I know that some people don't want their pictures on the Internet, issues like that.

I made sure to ask before taking any pictures of animals, and everyone that I talked to was fine with it. Just be sure to ask if it's okay beforehand.

Just ask first. Don't walk up to someone's table and just start taking pics. I've never seen anyone refuse, it's just polite to ask. People are there to have fun and come together around this hobby its a very friendly atmosphere.
