They are cool!!! I always liked the pac man frogs!!! I have kept a couple myself but do not currently have any although looking at pics always makes me want to get another one or two :D
-
cant wait for my pac-man to get up to size
Love the frogs:gj::gj:

Pacman frogs are cool critters, amazing how fast they grow too.
-
I have been really thinking about getting a pacman frog. I think they are so cool.

Pacman frogs are awesome and easy. I keep mine in a tub of eco earth with a plastic plant for cover and a shallow water bowl for if he chooses to soak. In the tub set up I never have to spray him and humidity still stays up nice. He's eating earthworms now, as well as occassional guppies and crickets. He's big enough for a pinky, but we haven't tried that yet..

I think Guacamole is about the most awesome name I've ever heard for a big, fat frog! :gj:

I'm waiting for the pinky thing:D
Our chicken frog is more than big enough to do the pinky thing, might try this weekend:banana:

We are loving the 'dip' names for our frogs.. We want an ornate(stays greener as adults) to name Pico! :) it's just fun. They look like big globs anyway!! :D

We were told it is not a dwarf, but I wasn't there when they purchased it/I'm not sure what the dwarfs visually look like. It looks like the true pyxies that I've seen, and it's grown quite a bit since they bought it. Started out smaller than guacamole, now is bigger. About small palm size right now? I can't think of a good size comparison lol. I'll have to take another picture of him/her next to something

How big do pyxies get?
I havent found much on the chicken frog other than there are not too many around anymore.
check him out a couple posts below this one.
My wife is in love with him AND our dumpy started calling last night but he was answering the tree frogs LOL

In true pyxies, males can reach over 8 inches. It seems most even out at around 6, but I have seen a 10 inch frog myself!
Girls are smaller, usually 5 inches or so!

That is a dwarf pyxie for sures, very nice one too!
-
I love pic 3. I think he's giving you the stink eye :)
-
Don't worry, we gave him some nice juicy worms to make him feel better about the whole situation! :D
