How do you tell the difference between a double rex and a hairless? I have what I assume is a hairless as the only tuft of hair he has is on his nether regions, lol.

Double rexs will grow their hair, then lose it non stop their entire life. hairless will stay hairless all their life.

Try getting a female! Much cleaner! The bucks produce a skin grease that makes them look dingy and orange. Does stay squeaky clean and pink or purple. :)

I only have him because he is a baby making stud!!! In my opinion the hairless are quite ugly, but as long as he is keeping his harem happy he's a keeper.

One reason i love double rexs. None of mine get dingy at all or get any grease on it. Thats what i thought with the one male posted in pictures, but he was born with a cream color similar to molting siamese.

Buck grease is so gross. :(
And dirty rat tails. I have pet rats, and I take them out and wash their tails because it just grosses me out how dirty they get. They use them to spread their pee around and make scent trails on the ground, so they're NASTY. . .

Pictures below, he turned into one of my best examples of siamese. And to top if off a female i thought was an albino got her points too. Puts me up to 8 siamese 3 being male for breeding.
