I Believe In Karma
Hatched out my first BEL from a Phantom X Lesser pairing. I have two in the clutch and I could not be happier. Thanks for looking.

Congrats....I can't wait to get a Mojo male for my Lesser and Mojo females.

I'm jealous. I will be getting my female lesser soon so I can make one of those beauties down the road. Congrats!
I didn't know phantoms make BELs, I guess you learn something new everyday.

:)
Yeah Karmas are kind of a patterned BEL. I have never seen one in person until now so I will post many pics when they are all out.

Congrats Joe, those are awesome!

Me too!!
Congrats Joe!!!

I always thought a karma was a whiter snake then most. I know with most bel genes the phantom gives more pattern and color to a bel, but thought lesser/butter was different.
-
Opps .... Mixed with lesser/butter was different. Can't edit on tapatalk.

I probably would have waited to post a pic with no blood...

Thanks everyone. They are all out and look great.... big healthy babies. Dave I was thinking the same thing, but I could not wait to post a pic. They are all blood free and I will post a nice group tomorrow :)

I understand....
I have posted rushed pics in the past, actually do it all the time:) but I would never post bloody pics...you have waited 50 plus days, we can wait a week longer for pics:)
So, the Karmas are a blue eyed Lucy with pattern? but not a Super?

I'm curious...what's the issue with there being a little blood in the picture? I have yet to breed any BPs, but I'm assuming that is normal and part of the hatching process? Or is it a result of cutting the egg?

There are veins in the egg. Cutting causes blood.

I figured the veins would be where the blood came from, just wasn't sure if that is only caused by cutting, or if the veins tear when the snake is allowed to break out on its own.

And I answered your question.. :p

Sometimes when the snakes hatch they still have small blood vessels attached to the egg. The egg was cut a few hours after he piped. The vessels were not attached to anything. The Karma came out within a few hours with no yolk. Sometimes there is a little blood... it happens. Does it affect the snake, no. Does it look bad, I guess that depends on who is looking. I will post some non bloody pictures shortly :)

Here is a picture I just took. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do :)
