    Weird belly twitching video
This is kind of hard to capture on video, but I just noticed that my lesser boy's belly has some very pronounced twitching when he slides back into his tub. It looks like a rat is trying to get out :P

    Have you seen this before?

Edit: Sorry, skip to the 40 second mark.

Its the first Ball Python Male to have live babies LOL.

No idea what it is, almost looks like something inside isnt in the right place.

Watching it again looks almost like theres few ribs that could be broken or protruding more when moving.

Did you ever get that XRay done? I just saw my BP doing the same thing today and it worried me.

Does anyone know what the hell that was about?

Believe it or not I think my Ball Python may do something similar. Occasionally I will notice a "twitch" on bottom underside of the neck about 6-7 down from the head. It usually happens when he is periscoping in his tank--trying to find a way out. It doesn't always happen but when it does, it freaks me out. Maybe they are involuntary muscle spasms. Such as your eye randomly twitching or what not.

yeah looks like muscle contractions to me too. Could be a pain response, I've seen it before with a broken rib. I would take him to a vet to be sure.

    cheers,
    Chris.

My BP's do something similar on all parts of their body depending on where i touch them--they are trying to get my hand off them, usually saying "Don't touch me right now!" I wouldn't worry.

When mine did it, I wasn't handling her at the time. She was moving into one of her hides right after she finished eating and her sides/belly started twitching like that.
