Sorry to hear that. One asf breeder told me to supplement with black sunflower seeds when they have a litter and I never had adults eating their young. Don't know if its because of that or I'm just lucky but I do it.

I heard that too..
Yep, giving mine one more chance too. I just think mom didn't feed em and they died so they ate em to clean up. But still.

My girl just pushed out 8 on Monday. I can't even get in there to sex them. Momma is pretty protective.

That's why it's nice to have 2 or more females in there to help out.
Some of my moms will haul to the other side of the tank dragging babies with her, others will fight till the end. I found it was easier to remove the parents first like when you are cleaning the tank and then do what you need to do. I like looking at the sex while doing maintenance.
