Got my snake 2 weeks ago and she hasnt.. umm pooped lol

Hey so i have such a cute little BP girl and her name is Delilah :] anyway ive fed her 2 times already and i still havent seen or found and poop in her cage. should i worry at all or is that normal?

She will poop when she's ready. It is not uncommon for them to poo once a month or less often.

The stress of adjusting to a new environment will also prolong the pooping experience. When I went through basic training I didn't poop for exactly a week. Now that's impressive!

Thanks for asking this question. I've had one for just short of a month now. He's also eaten twice and hasn't pooped yet. Guess I won't worry for another week or two. :weirdface

I also posted something similar, and after 3 weeks Khal finally did 'go'. DOn't worry! I'm sure it will work itself out!

This is a link to a detailed 99% accurate tracking of my one ball python Lilly, All of her feedings shedding are 100% accurate. I may have missed a (poo) or recently but you can tell by the labeled poos! how far apart they are. Off the top of my head not looking at the tracking list i am pretty sure she went twenty nine days with out going!

When I first got my ball, I was so used to corns that I thought he was constipated. My guy only goes about every month and a half. I actually had kept track of it for a while until I figured out what was normal for him.

yea it takes time. when i first got my bp he did not poop for the longest time.

Just hope that when it does decide to do it you aren't holding it or letting it crawl on your leg at the time.

When we first got our BP It took 3 feedings and a shed before he poohed. And then another two weeks after that. They don't pooh often, which is a nice change from taking care of my other pets which are pooh factories!

Wow, this thread was buried, I dug it up because my Prince hasn't pooped since I got him too. MJ and Dot poop a few days after meals. Prince has eaten twice and hasn't pooped yet. Hope He will soon! I have been misting him too because I swear I though he was on pre-shed last week already but he hasnt. It is getting pretty hot here in the Philippines so though misting would help him.

My new male, Monty, still hasn't pooped since my earlier post to this thread. It's been about a month and a week. He's had a good shed and three rats. He seems fine and the breeder says not to worry. If there's no poo by tomorrow, I'm going to try a trick that's worked for me in the past. I'll take him out, stick him under my shirt, and gently pet him. At this point, if he poops all over me, I think I'll actually be glad! :please:

If you are worried you can soak him in luke warm water. That usually does the trick. But they are weird like that. Mine will poop one week apart and than not go for over a month. Nothing to worry about.

Oh, that's a good idea. I'll try that tomorrow if he hasn't pooped by then. I tried holding him under my shirt today. He barely moved at all. He seems fine physically, just slow to warm up to his new home I guess.

Ive had a girl take over a month in between poops. It's normal. They dont poop like we do ya know.

Hey Kaitlyn, didn't mean to hijack your thread. How's Delilah? Did she poop yet?

After 52 days, he finally did it! That's 52 days plus however long before he was shipped to me. Man, he sure seems to be feeling much better too! :banana::taz::bow::gj:

Hope others here are also having good luck with theirs! :P
