    PVC water cup ?
Since my ball pythons keep tipping over their water dish and making a mess I am looking at going to a new system. I remeber reading somewhere that you can use pvc couplings adn insert a plastic portion cup or deli cup into it and they wont be able to tip it over. Does anyone know what size coupling to use and what size cup to insert?

I do that! I use 3" couplings and the little clear party cups that are only like 4 inches high. They fit perfect!

How does it not topple over Jess?

It weighs quite a bit. The PVC is heavy. Then again, my snakes are all babies, but I'm guessing with full water bowls it would be fine.
EDIT: maybe the cups are like 3" high. But I looked and they are 9oz solo cups. Came in a pack of 40.

I have using the ceramic/plastic dog/cat dishes from the dollar tree, so far so good. The only problem I have with the ceramic, is the hard water stains, so every other month or so i use clr on them.

My racks have ARS caging tubs, 70 series, the middle one:

They are so sexy. I just stick a deli cup in the built in water dish, and voila! No spill.

Here is one of few pics I have with the pvc coupler in the picture, before cleaning her cage.

The tubs are like $30 or something. It says on their site.

I used couplings briefly... they tip.

I just use different sized ramekin dishes with the right sized deli cup in them.

Could u not simply tack the pvc down with some super glue?? Voila poormans ars!!

Tacking down the PVC means those edges are a great place for feces and urine to collect and would be a pain to clean. And if you use newspaper for bedding it is not Terribly convenient.

But would u not run into the same issue if u went to a proffesional ars tub with built in holder. Seems some sacrifice needs to be made if u want that option
