wow he was a really nice Pewter Nicole. it's easy to see why you spent so much time and money trying to save him. it sucks to lose any specimen to an RI but that one must have been especially hard.

Those are some spectacular adult pewters!

Unfortunately, I think a lot of them turn out a bit browner.

I wish they actually stayed "pewter" colored. I think grey looks way nicer on a snake than brown does.

Thanks everyone, those are some gorgeous snakes! I hope the 2010 male I'm getting next month holds his silver into adulthood.

They seem to be very variable, but then I guess alot of morphs are.

Gooseberry, a 2009 950+ gram female Pewter

On topic but different question...Has anybody noticed if adults that were produced from breedings other than Cinny x Pastel hold better coloration as they age? I figure that information is also uselful in choosing a Pewter, since there are so many to choose from now. Which also leads to nicer ones being produced. Everything comes full circle. :)
