What do i do with these things?
I found these pygmy rattlers around my house today. I live in a residental area and dont want them by the house but see no reason in killing them. Can i take them to park and give them to a park ranger? Or do i have to call someone else? Any suggestions?

They are cute as heck!! I'd find a wooded area far from the residential area and release them...never know if the rangers will kill them or not. I'd hope not...but you never know. You can always call and ask them where a good place to release them is?

yeah thats what just came to mind. I just drove them out in the middle of no where and let them go. Plus the park touches my yard and if they didnt kill them they prolly would have just ended up back were i am. Oh well at least they wont have to come across people again and dont have to be worried about gettin killed.

Oh wow they're adorable! Glad you released them somewhere they should be safe! I'm fascinated by how small they are.

Depending on where you live, the rangers might not be allowed to kill them. They're protected in some states.

Nice snakes! I'm glad that you put them where they'll be safe.
