From my understanding things to look for in a good pastel are:
    1. Lots of yellow (Orange turns more brown I believe)
    2. Lots of blushing

She looks like she has both so I would say she would be a pretty good pickup.

I'd say C+ to B. In my eyes she's average to slightly above average.

thanks so far/can you post a picture of an A+
for comparison - the best pic you have or know of for a pastel - thanks

    Clear
C- to C. Average at best. She is already dark and so young, she will brown out bad. She wouldnt be added to my collection, to be honest I dont own any pastels, they are ugly as adults.

She is nice and bright but just doesnt catch my eye so I would say a little above average as far as looks go.
    What price are they asking?

Yeah, I've gotta agree with the others. Average. She has some ok yellow lower down on her sides, but if you notice she is already browning out on top, which leads me to believe she will brown out even worse as an adult. Her patterns aren't anything special in my eyes, nor is her blushing.

Look for the least amount of orange that you can find on a pastel. Look for the most blushed out head that you can. Be willing to pay more for an exceptional pastel, as much as $100 more. Because if you don't, someone else will.

I wasn't shopping for pastels at the time I ran across this girl. I snagged her immediately.

I really need to take updated pictures of her. She's maturing very nicely!

I would have snatched her up too. Pastels are one of those snakes that I would hold out for something stellar and not settle on average. It may take you awhile but be prepared to jump when you find her. As rabernet said. If you don't someone else will. Good luck hunting!

You'd probably do better if you started your own thread.

190 shipped isn't really that cheap you could go to a show and pick up an older girl for a lot less money. Probably in the 140-150 range. And she looks like she is brewing out a little already.. Once that starts to happen it is all down hill from there.
