Which fire male would you choose?

Title says it all. I have a choice between these two and I can't decide, though I think I'm leaning toward two. Who do you think exemplifies fire better?

I'd choose #1...but are they fires? The head isn't very blushed??

Those look nothing like fires to me.

I'd say neither...they dont look like fires. Or they look like low quality...

That's what I was thinking as well, I just didn't want to be rude incase the person frequented this forum...

I wasn't taking offense, thanks for saying so just incase though. I have to agree, even if I'm new I do do my research and check my facts unlike 90% of people who would rather jump right in. I entertained the thought since it was a good deal and supposedly they were both in deep shed. On top of this he said he had a female het albino for sale as well:rolleyes:

well apperantly this person dont know what he is trying to sell so i would say stay away from him but thats just me

Because they are normals and IMO this seller needs to be brought out into the light so others can know who they are and are able to avoid them in the future.

I'm amazed nobody has said anything over there, they usually are pretty vigilant :P

I am new to the hobby as well and those are definetly not FIRES. Nor would I trust the seller has a het albino.

Oh! I know what those are...100% het for b/s hahaha :P

Maybe the breeder could show a group pic of the 'normals' as well as these 'fires'?? Maybe to see why he is labeling them as such. They look like normals to me. They are dark normals too, not even high yellow or anything! Bizarre

Im not expert with fires. But the two on top look nothing like a fire IMO. The one on the bottom right would be the closest to a "fire" if he had one. Even so, it could be just the picture making the bottom right snake look so bright.

Others more experienced with fires should chime in soon enough.

Smells fishy.

Maybe the seller got confused and mixed up some pics when he replied.. labeling the top 2 as fire was absurd, the bottom three are much closer to the mark.

I'm going to pass on these anyway, but right now I'm trying to see if he is legit and made a mistake or is trying for a quick buck. He wanted to meet locally with no pictures when he obviously has them taken on fauna so...

EDIT: He just texted me and said the two fires are on the top of the picture in heavy shed.

Is the het albino female for sale the mother of the 3 het albinos? If that's the case, I'd ask for pictures of the albino father and any albinos they got in the clutch of albino x het albino, if the het proved out that is.. If the seller is saying the 5 snakes pictured are from the same clutch then they would have had to breed albino to fire to get what they're claiming in which case they'd all be het albino, no? Whether this seller is just very unorganized, clueless, or trying to rip someone off, I'd steer clear of this ad..

Maybe he was just as confused when he bought their parents as you were in the beginning of the thread, and really believes he has fires? Point out they look nothing like fires, deep shed or no, maybe he thinks it's recessive or something lol

um.. even in shed, fires don't usually look that dang dark.. You should post these photos on his ad and ask for parent photos.

:rolleyes: According to him, the father was a fire and the mother a black eye leucistic, aka super fire. Also he currently doesn't have pictures of the parents. In addition the het albino's mother was an albino.

EDIT: He said the snakes are at his older brother's because the older brother is the one who bred them and he is getting pictures for me from him.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But a Super fire x Fire would produce all super fires and fires. Would it not?

You can keep fishing with the dude if you like, but I'd never purchase a darn thing from this con.

Like it was mentioned earlier, the only things hes selling are Hets for B/S!

At this point I just want to see a picture of the super so I can try to find it on a google image search.. :)

Yeah, the benefit of having a super co-dom like that is you'll never hatch a normal baby by it again... let alone with a fire mama. He could have at least done his research before talking crap :O Selling an illegitimate het is one thing, but selling a normal as a co-dom with impossible parents is just... wow :rofl:

You need to report this on the site it is advertised on.

It is obvious this is a con, and as fun as it is to talk it up HERE, it does nothing to protect buyers there, or to inform the staff on Fauna what is happening on their board.

Like I said, I'm waiting to see if he's actively scamming or just really ignorant. I will definitely do so once he text me back (or does not text me back).

Regardless of ignorance or intent, this individual has misrepresented the parents (from supers to fires).

And if those are low quality fires they are the lowest quality anyone in this thread has seen. If they deem that ad a scam, then once he produces proof the ad can be re-posted, no big loss.

If he is emailing you, be sure that he is emailing other people as well, once those snakes sell you won`t here from this seller again and the ad will be pulled...
