I wish I had a macro lens for my DSLR so I could capture those amazing green eyes better. That would mean I would have less money for more BPs...:confused:

and I hear you.. those macro lenses can get WAY pricey :(

I have an amazing little Canon point and shoot as well as my DSLR. I have never been disappointed with its macro capabilities. Maybe if the lighting outside is nice tomorrow morning I'll take some more eye shots with it.

Okay, I tried to use my macro setting on the point and shoot today. It was not cooperating with me. I had to default to the digital macro setting. The colors turned out untrue, almost blue-ish. Either way I tried to get some close ups of his eyes.

Hopefully I can figure out what is wrong with my macro feature. It usually takes amazing SLR quality shots. Or someone can just send me one of their macro lenses, I will take good care of it.
