Getting a new 4" confirmed female A. versicolor today!!
I am going to pick up a 4" confirmed female versicolor today  I have two versicolor slings but it will be nice to have a confirmed adult around since I like them so much :D And since I do not have pics of her yet since I don't have her here is a pic of where she is going to be living and a pic of her neighbor and a few of my short crappy youtube videos to make the thread not so boring - lol:

12x12x18 Zoo med terrarium (hers is obviously on the left - lol):

Short Monocentropus feeding video (not a great one):

Defensiveness test on my Acanthoscurria geniculata female:

I'm very anxious to see the pics of your new creepy crawler. That last female in the last video is huge! Wow, I can't imagine something like that being so big!

Thanks Christie!!! She is a big girl and not the biggest she will get!!! She also has VERY potent venom which is why I kept closing the door to her cage - lol. I don't think she would go after me because she is pretty chill but it's when you let your guard down that things can happen. Better safe then sorry I figured :D :salute:

Here are a few more short videos in case anyone is interested:

Brachypelma vagans eating a cricket (she was too fast and shot out of her hide before I was ready - lol)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7Uj3igPylk

Xenethis immanis eating a super worm (video looks better on my phone - sigh)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pt0kmzOwTPY

    Brachypelma albopilosum eating a cricket
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2DzfplJEZQ

    Brachypelma smithi eating a cricket
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuFHdUHFW1g

    Grammostola pulchra eating a cricket
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMpmwkw07KE

Lasiodora parahybana eating super worms (this video's color came out really crappy)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRf91lmaJbg

I am not impressed with any of these video's. They are HD from my phone but the Hd's is not that great. I am going to have to invest in a HD cramera to get better videos at some point. I also do not know how to combine all these videos into one lone video which is why there is so many short clips. I am working on figuring it out though :gj:

That's!!! I like the versicolors A LOT and aboreals in general for that matter :D She is not that friendly so I don't think she likes me or anyone else much though

Thanks!!! My wife is not a big fan of creepy crawlies at all. She tolerates them because I like them but does not mess with any of them at all - lol. She will glance in a cage though every once in a GREAT while :)

Thanks!! No those are not real plants, I use fake ones - lol. I was thinking about it but don't want to mess with special bulbs and if the plants happen to die I would have to take them out and re-do the enclosure (and if webbing was attached I would have to break it) etc. So I just decided fake was eaiser - lol. Oh, and I got a very good deal on her because I picked her up and bought her from a friend of mine in Philly :gj:

I know of people who have had good luck with live plants and make beautiful enclosures so don't give up just yet!! I am still considering live plants as an option some day but at the moment fake is just way eaiser - lol.
As for the A. brocklehursti, I have never kept one so I don't know. If they are like an A. geniculata then they will lay webbing down just not heavily. I have fake plants in my genics enclosure and she has ripped them down. I will need to tact them up with hot glueso she stops destroying everything - lol.

Yes and super worms. I just put in an order for some B. dubia roaches to start breeding them because I hate the sound and smell of crickets. I am getting 60 males, 80 females and 700 unsexed dubias to start my colony and they are shipping out tomorrow. No more crickets unless I have a stubborn feeder

hahaha sounds like my fish but he eats the live plants.punk.

i hate crickets too man.so annoying and smelly and they look at you. id like to start a dubia colony too but id see myself with more dubia that i know what to do with.i dont think 23 c.sculptaratus'(downgrade to 11 after summer),two emperors, and two t slings would put a dent in a colony.:(stupid crix
