New Pickup, 100% Het Albino male BCI
Just ordered this little fella from Royal Constrictor Designs, 100% Het Albino male BCI born 6/4/11. He will be here in the morning! I am so excited to see him in person, his patterns are wild. I have never seen one quite like him before. He has a 2nd pattern of the 2 dots between each saddle too that is really neat, the spot on top of his nose and the evenly spaced orange stripes under his tail, just a very unique looking animal.
And of course I will be shooting an unpacking video for Youtube, lol.

For some reason the photos didn't show up so I tossed in a couple links using the URL instead. But take a look, he is really awesome!

Wow, hot stuff there. Good luck with him.

Added the unboxing video....funny stuff, lol.
Thanks for the comments ! This is my very first "ordered" snake from a breeder, all my others have craigslist finds, or from people I know, so I didn't know to expect such an angry little snake, haha..check out the video.
I made an unpacking video of the little fella...turned out pretty good, he gave me a bit of a surprise, lol.

ROFLMAO...... :8::rofl::rofl::rofl:
How'd you eventually get him out???
Congrats on the pickup - he's gorgeous, even if he is the spawn of satan...... :D

Haha...I use a temporary tub for quarantine, so I just set it next to the box and lifted him out with the hook, he wrapped around the hook and made it easy for me for lift him out and set him in the tub.
Yeah, he sure is a little fireball ! :D

Is your's mean ? Mine is still acting like the spawn of satan...crazy little guy attacks his tub every time I walk by, even if I am 5 feet away and we can hear the little fella hissing clear in the kitchen, lol. I have never had a snake this angry, not sure what I should do. :taz:

Haha my female ball python has the same hatching date

Let him settle for a couple of days and then offer a meal. That may calm him down. Continue to use the hook, even though he is small. He will eventually learn that tantrums won't work.

awww. i love it when baby's try to act tough. it's so cute. i bet he grows out of it, most do. of course i did have an 8' female that still acted like that years ago, at that size they will keep you on your toes.

Mine isn't mean, mine just gets over excited about food! When we are warming up rats and she can smell it she strikes at anything that comes close to her cage :O Or just..the cage itself. I think she thinks she can eat her way out :P

I have taken him out 4 times now for just a couple minutes...I dont use the hook but I do wear a light glove, just so he gets used to a giant hand grabbing him and not hurting him. Last 3 times he hasnt hissed, or even flinched, he keeps a close eye on me though, I think the glove blocks the heat and he has no idea where to try and bite me, lol.
But he does seem to be calming down quickly, I am going to feed him tomorrow, so hopefully in a couple days I can post a photo of me holding him ungloved. I wouldnt bother with the glove except he dont just bite...he bites, and bites, and bites, and bites, really fast over and over, and I dont want any part of that, hahaha.
Thanks for all the comments, I just love this little fella!
