I'm definitely no expert on fires or many of the other subtle morphs, but I though fires were named that for the blushing and high flames, which I don't really see. Kinda hard to tell from that pic without being able to see the sides, but I'm thinking normal with a crazy pattern...
Father is definitely Fire..
Do you have Mother picture as well ??
Was that her first breeding ??
If not what She was bred to last year ??

+1 to what Rafal said... You can see the definite difference between the blushing on the back of the father and the lack of blushing on the hatchling. Also, I see some very high flames on dad too. He's a nice looking fire. But at the same time, I have a hard time saying that the hatchling looks normal either. The pattern looks pastel to me at first glance. Confused...

Thanks for the comments. The mother is apparently normal and is the first year I grew up with it. The fire was bought mike as poss. granite and is the second clutch the first was last year.

I agree on normal....I don't see much flaming on the sides...
Wow. What an amazing little busy fire! I had a suspicion from the first pics it might have been a fire, but I'm not real good at hatchling photos.
He sure is a handsome little fella, are you going to keep him ?

Maybe I am way off on what fires are... if so I need to look at a lot more before the show. I thought fires were more cream colored than they are yellow with reduced melanin, for the blushing. He looks too yellow to me to be considered a fire, but maybe I am way off?

I think he is a normal with a jungle pattern. I don't really see a fire pattern!
