    Hi, new to the group!
Our family recently got a new family member! We are very happy to have her. We just found out just how many kinds of BP's there are out there! Pied, standard etc...wow. I'm not real sure if she's a standard or what. I would like to post a pic but can't seem to be able to???
I do have a question...she just shed a couple of days after we got her. There were no usual signs of a shed though. No dulling of her colors or hazing of the eyes. We fed her according to the schedule that she was use to and found that she ate and shed in the night. Normal?
Thanks for any info and have a great day!

    Welcome to BP.net :colbert2:

BP's do alot of their activities at night.
She had already gone through the pink belly, dull skin, blue eye phase of shedding before you got her.
Glad to see she is settling in nicely for you.

Check out out caresheet for BP's in the forum section, you will find a plethera of helpful information there :)

First of all... :welcome: !!! Snakes vary so much what is normal for one can be odd for another. The longer you have your snake the more you will start to realize what they will or won't do.

    Regards,

She looks like a nice wild type. Looks like she is a good eater. I've seen too many skinny babies, but she looks good. Congrats and good luck. :)

    thanks everyone
yea she's a real good eater, the day after we got her was her feeding day she had a hooper, but you could not see or feel it so on saturday she had another hooper, then on thursday she had a adult mouse. i'm going to changing her over to rat pups found a place local to me that will sell me a 100 for $85.00 and it's less than 40 miles away, better than pet stores that sell then for 4.25 each. soon we will be breeding rats for her, but need to find oiut local law about that. and thanks everyone for your support, Camo (the ball python) is doing real well in her new home and my youngest son named her and the oldest son liked the name too.

    Hello, and :welcome: to BP.net.

To post photos, first, you will need to upload your photos to your Gallery on this website or to a photo hosting website like Photobucket, Flickr, etc...

-Open up the Reply window to the thread you want to post them in.

-Open a separate internet browser window and go to the site where your photos are posted.

-Usually below the photo, you will find some URL links or codes. Look for the one that begins with [IMG] or sometimes it may be listed as "BB Code". Highlight and copy this entire code then paste it in your "Reply" window.

-Click on the "Preview Post" button to see if the photo becomes visible. If it does click "Submit Reply". If not, then double check that you copied the right code or the entire code. The end of the code should be [/IMG]...

Here is a link to a video tutorial also. Hope this helps...
