If your first out was a female Albino there should be no question whether or not you should keep her! Lol, you can never have too many females, especially morphs!

    Hi,

I kept my first female hatchling.

She has already laid a clutch for me in the past and seems as though she still might go this year.

I have 1 hold back from each clutch starting from my first. This past season I was made into a snakes grandma. Kinda frightening. I love seeing an animal I hatched, raised, and now bred, and have babies from her, I'll be doing the same all over again!

I just hatched out my first clutch. I'd really like to keep one, but I really don't need another normal female, definitely no normals males, and I already have a vanilla male.

So, I won't be keeping any of my first. Space is a premium here, so I'll be waiting for morphs I need to keep a baby.

I plan on keeping any females that crawl out of my clutch. And because I'd love to have another normal female produced from my very first Ball python [that is a normal female]. :P

We kept our first BP that we produced...Of course our first egg to hatch contained twin females! We had to keep them both!

I breed hedgehogs so this kinda relates.

My male was 2 1/2 before he fathered his first litter, I have his 8 week old daughter bailey. I almost didnt keep her. Yesterday her dad was diagnosed with kidney failure. I cant tell you how SORRY I would have been had I NOT kept Bailey.

I hope to get one more litter out of him before he passes since its in early stages. But you dont have guarentees

I have a male pastel and female cinny I hope to breed I'm the next couple years. I would love to keep the first one out for sentimental reasons. But if Its a male normal I probably won't lol.
