Pastel YB Genetic Stripe Clutch - Crazy Odds!

I just crushed the odds on an 8 egg clutch from a het genetic stripe female bred by a pastel yellowbelly genetic stripe male!

2.1 pastel yellowbelly genetic stripes
2.0 pastel genetic stripes
0.1 yellowbelly genetic stripe
1.0 genetic stripe
0.1 pastel het genetic stripe

I can't believe that 7 out of 8 hatchlings are genetic stripes or better!

Also, the female that laid this clutch started out as a 50% possible het that I proved out in 2009. In her first clutch she produced 4 genetic stripes out of 5 eggs. Now she's laid 13 eggs total and produced 11 genetic stripes!

Holy.........moly! Those are some seriously smokin' babies you have there...every single one! Congrats on such a fabulous clutch. Better not ever let go of that mamma...she seems to also be het for lucky! :D

Better go take a whack at the lottery now ;).

Yep, that one is the YB stripe.

I love how the the yb gene breaks up the stripe, I'm hoping it does the same thing for the clown project.
