Your Opinion is this a Mojave and is it worth the Price
I saw this add on craigslist for someone downsizing his collections. He had a mojave listed for the price of $100 and the add said it was bright yellow. So i asked for some pictures and i really dont see the yellow. I also dont see a big difference besides its lighter. Here are some pics that he sent me. One is it next to a normal. Also its a 1 year old male.

looks like a Mojave to me, a very low grade one but then again the pictures arent the greatest. I still think its a Mojave and as far as it being worth $100. That would depend on if you wanted to spend $100 for it. A snake is only worth what someone will pay for it.

Definitely a mojo and a decent looking one in my opinion. For the price I'd get it. Did he send a weight? It looks a bit small to be a yearling.

I guess the question is what would you ask for it? I really want to save for a pair of Het Pieds but saw this and starting thinking about it. I currently have a female normal.

Cameras always seem to have a problem picking up yellows. I can't see the pictures, probably because I'm at work. If you like pattern, for $100 you can't really go wrong. He will be breeder size shortly, if not already...keep that in mind.

I cant stand buying hets, but thats just me. I think $100 is a good price for him and if your female is adult they could breed next season.. so I would say its a good pickup.

:rolleye2: I guess I can't interest you in a pair of het clowns then :P
Recessive traits are a great way to get into projects that not everyone on the block is making already

I just asked him and he said hes feeding it small-medium size mice every two weeks. Mine is eating that every 4-5 days

Wow.. If you got it, you could double it's size in about 4 months with proper feeding. That guy needs large mice or 6 week old rats.

Looks like a good little mojo. My male from a breeder was 160ish grams and was $175.00 plus shipping. I would take that deal if he seemed healthy to you on inspection. Mojo's are a good solid base morph that can do a lot of things for someone's breeding project. :)

If you think owning an "ehh" $100 mojave and then him producing $100 babies when everyone else is producing $200 babies is ok with you, then yes, get him.

I would suggest seeing it in person.

I think he is a nice Mojave! You really need to see him in person! Cameras never do Ball Pythons justice! A $100 is a good price considering he would be about $250 here!

I think it looks like a nice Mojave, and just crappy cell phone pictures... if I took photos of my Mojaves (who are rather nice according to people here) with my cell, they'd probably look similarly washed-out. I'd recommend seeing it in person first, but I bet it looks better than those photos suggest. JMO, of course. ;)
